Psalms 44
1 TO THE OVERSEER. AN INSTRUCTION OF THE SONS OF KORAH. O God, we have heard with our ears, Our fathers have recounted to us, The work You worked in their days, In the days of old.
১প্রধান সঙ্গীতজ্ঞ জন্য। করোহ-সন্তানদের একটি মস্কীল। ঈশ্বর আমরা আমাদের কানে শুনেছি, আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরা আমাদের বলেছিল যে তুমি তাদের পুরোনো দিন গুলোতে কি করেছ।
2 You, [with] Your hand, have dispossessed nations. And You plant them. You afflict peoples, and send them away.
২তুমি তোমার হাত দিয়ে জাতিদেরকে বের করেছ, কিন্তু তুমি আমাদের লোকেদের রোপণ করেছিলে, তুমি লোকদের কষ্ট দিলে, কিন্তু তুমি আমাদের লোকেদের এই দেশের বিস্তার।
3 For they did not possess the land by their sword, And their arm did not give salvation to them, But Your right hand, and Your arm, And the light of Your countenance, Because You had accepted them.
৩কারণ তারা নিজেদের তরোয়াল দ্বারা দেশ অধিকার করে নি, তাদের নিজের বাহু তাদের রক্ষা করে নি, কিন্তু তোমার ডান হাত, তোমার বাহু এবং তোমার মুখের আলো, কারণ তুমি তাদের প্রতি উপযোগী ছিলেন।
4 You [are] He, my King, O God, Command the deliverances of Jacob.
৪ঈশ্বর, তুমিই আমার রাজা এবং ঈশ্বর; যাকোবের জন্য পরিত্রান বিজয়ী করতে আদেশ দিন।
5 By You we push our adversaries, By Your Name we tread down our withstanders,
৫তোমার দ্বারা আমরা আমাদের শত্রুদের ঠেলে নিচে ফেলে দেব; যারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে উঠে, তাদের তোমার নামের মাধ্যমে আমরা তাদের অধীনে চালাই।
6 For I do not trust in my bow, And my sword does not save me.
৬কারণ আমি নিজের ধনুকের উপর নির্ভর করব না, আমার তরোয়াল আমাকে রক্ষা করবে না।
7 For You have saved us from our adversaries, And You have put to shame those hating us.
৭কিন্তু তুমিই আমাদের শত্রুদের থেকে আমাদের রক্ষা করেছ এবং যারা আমাদের ঘৃণা তাদের লজ্জায় ফেলে দাও।
8 In God we have boasted all the day, And we thank Your Name for all time. (Selah)
৮আমরা সমস্ত দিন ধরে ঈশ্বরেতে গর্ব করলাম এবং চিরকাল জন্য তোমার নামের ধন্যবাদ করব। (সেলা)
9 In anger You have cast off and cause us to blush, And do not go forth with our hosts.
৯কিন্তু এখন তুমি আমাকে ত্যাগ করেছ এবং আমাদের অপমানের মধ্যে নিয়ে এসেছ এবং আমাদের সৈন্যবাহিনীর সঙ্গে যাত্রা কর না।
10 You cause us to turn backward from an adversary, And those hating us, Have spoiled for themselves.
১০তুমি বিপক্ষদের থেকে আমাদেরকে ফিরিয়েছ এবং আমাদের যারা ঘৃণা করে তারা নিজেদের জন্য লুটপাট করে।
11 You make us food like sheep, And You have scattered us among nations.
১১তুমি আমাদের খাবার জন্য ভেড়ার মত করে তৈরী করেছ এবং জাতিদের মধ্যে আমাদের ছিন্নভিন্ন করেছ।
12 You sell Your people—without wealth, And have not become great by their price.
১২তুমি আপন লোকেদের বিনামূল্যে বিক্রি করেছ, তাদের মূল্যর দ্বারা ধন বৃদ্ধি কর নাই।
13 You make us a reproach to our neighbors, A scorn and a reproach to our surrounders.
১৩তুমি আমাদের প্রতিবেশীদের কাছে আমাদের তিরস্কার করেছ, আমাদের চারপাশে লোকদের উপহাস ও বিদ্রূপের পাত্র করেছ।
14 You make us an allegory among nations, A shaking of the head among peoples.
১৪তুমি জাতিদের মধ্যে আমাদের অপমান করেছ, লোকেদের মধ্যে মাথাকে কম্পন করেছ।
15 All the day my confusion [is] before me, And the shame of my face has covered me.
১৫সমস্ত দিন আমার অপমান আমার সামনে থাকে এবং আমার মুখের লজ্জা আমাকে ঢেকে দিয়েছে।
16 Because of the voice of a reproacher and reviler, Because of an enemy and a self-avenger.
১৬কারণ অপমান ও নিন্দাকারীর কন্ঠস্বর সহ্য করে, কারণ শত্রু ও প্রতিহিংসাকারীর উপস্থিতির জন্য।
17 All this met us, and we did not forget You, Nor have we dealt falsely in Your covenant.
১৭এইসব আমাদের উপর এসেছে; কিন্তু আমরা তোমাকে ভুলে যাই নি, বা তোমার নিয়ম বিষয়ে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করিনি।
18 We do not turn our heart backward, Nor turn aside our step from Your path.
১৮আমাদের হৃদয়ে ফিরে যায় নি; আমাদের পদক্ষেপ তোমার পথে থেকে চলে যাই নি।
19 But You have struck us in a place of dragons, And cover us over with death-shade.
১৯তবুও তুমি আমাদেরকে শিয়ালের জায়গায় তীব্রভাবে আমাদের ছিঁড়ে ফেলেছ এবং মৃত্যুরছায়ার সঙ্গে আমাদেরকে আচ্ছন্ন করেছ।
20 If we have forgotten the Name of our God, And spread our hands to a strange God,
২০আমরা যদি নিজের ঈশ্বরের নাম ভুলে যাই বা যদি অন্য দেবের প্রতি অঞ্জলি দিয়ে থাকি।
21 Does God not search this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.
২১তবে ঈশ্বর কি এই বিষয় অনুসন্ধান করবেন না? কারণ তিনি হৃদয়ের গুপ্ত বিষয় সব জানেন।
22 Surely, for Your sake we have been slain all the day, Reckoned as sheep of the slaughter.
২২প্রকৃত পক্ষে, তোমার জন্য আমরা সমস্ত দিন মারা যাচ্ছি; আমাদের বধের ভেড়া বলে মনে করা হয়।
23 Stir up—why do You sleep, O Lord? Awake, do not cast us off forever.
২৩জেগে উঠ, প্রভু কেন নিদ্রা যাও? উঠ, আমাদের স্হায়ীভাবে ত্যাগ করেন না।
24 Why do You hide Your face? You forget our afflictions and our oppression,
২৪তুমি কেন তোমার মুখ লুকাচ্ছ এবং আমাদের দুঃখ ও অত্যাচার কেন ভুলে যাচ্ছ।
25 For our soul has bowed to the dust, Our belly has cleaved to the earth.
২৫কারণ আমার প্রাণ ধূলোতে অবনত হয়েছে, আমাদের শরীর ভূমিতে আটকে আছে।
26 Arise, a help to us, And ransom us for your kindness’ sake.
২৬আমাদের সাহায্যের জন্য উঠ এবং নিজের চুক্তির নিয়মে আমাদেরকে মুক্ত কর।
