< Psalms 43 >
1 Judge me, O God, And plead my cause against a nation not pious, You deliver me from a man of deceit and perverseness,
Ndiruramisirei, imi Mwari, uye mundireverere mhaka yangu parudzi rusina Mwari; ndinunurei pavanhu vanonyengera nevakaipa.
2 For you [are] the God of my strength. Why have You cast me off? Why do I go up and down mourning, In the oppression of an enemy?
Ndimi Mwari nhare yangu. Mandirambireiko? Ndinofambireiko pose ndichichema ndichidzvinyirirwa navavengi?
3 Send forth Your light and Your truth, They lead me, they bring me in, To Your holy hill, and to Your dwelling places.
Tumirai chiedza chenyu nechokwadi chenyu, ngazvinditungamirire; ngazvindisvitse kugomo renyu dzvene, kunzvimbo yamunogara.
4 And I go to the altar of God, To God, the joy of my rejoicing. And I thank You with a harp, O God, my God.
Ipapo ndichaenda kuaritari yaMwari, kuna Mwari, iye mufaro wangu nomudikani wangu. Ndichakurumbidzai nembira, imi Mwari, Mwari wangu.
5 Why bow yourself, O my soul? And why are you troubled within me? Wait for God, for I still confess Him, The salvation of my countenance, and my God!
Wakasuwireiko, nhai mweya wangu? Unotambudzwa neiko mukati mangu? Isa tariro yako muna Mwari, nokuti ndichamurumbidzazve, Muponesi wangu naMwari wangu.
