< Psalms 38 >

1 A PSALM OF DAVID. “TO CAUSE TO REMEMBER.” YHWH, do not reprove me in Your wrath, Nor discipline me in Your fury.
MAIN, der kotin kaloke ia ni omui kupur jued, o der kame ia ni omui onion.
2 For Your arrows have come down on me, And You let down Your hand on me.
Pwe japwilim omui kananan kajik katieu lei don ia, o lim omui katoutou ia.
3 Soundness is not in my flesh, Because of Your indignation, Peace is not in my bones, Because of my sin.
Jota mau kot ni pali war ai pweki omui onion, o jota moleilei nan kokon ai kan pweki dip ai
4 For my iniquities have passed over my head, As a heavy burden—too heavy for me.
Pwe dip ai kin kadupaledi mon ai, re kin katoutou ia dueta meakot me toutou melel.
5 Stunk—my wounds have become corrupt, Because of my folly.
Ai ola kan pojuedelaonanan pweki ai pweipwei.
6 I have been bent down, I have been bowed down—to excess, I have gone mourning all the day.
I kin koj pena o pairok wei alialu, i kin injenjued anjau karoj,
7 For my flanks have been full of drought, And soundness is not in my flesh.
Pwe lonelon ai monedier melel, o jota mau kot ni pali war ai.
8 I have been feeble and struck—to excess, I have roared from disquietude of heart.
Nai Iuetalar melel o i wokiwok pajaner. I kin janejan, pweki monion i jota kak moleilei.
9 Lord, all my desire [is] before You, And my sighing has not been hid from You.
Main, kom kotin mani ai inon karojo ai janejan, o ai jota rir jan komui.
10 My heart [is] panting, my power has forsaken me, And the light of my eyes, Even they are not with me.
Monion i rerer, ai kelail ko janer i, o marain en maj ai pil rotolala.
11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from before my plague. And my neighbors have stood far off.
Kompoke pai o ai warok kan kin doo wei jan ia, o juedeki ai kalokolok, o jau i kan kin doo jan ia.
12 And those seeking my soul lay a snare, And those seeking my evil Have spoken mischievous things, And they meditate [on] deceits all the day.
O me kin inon ion kameia la, kin majmajan ia, o me men wia jued on ia, kin indinda duen ar pan wiada dodok jued, o re kin widwidin anjau karoj.
13 And I, as deaf, do not hear. And as a mute one who does not open his mouth.
A nai dueta me jalonepon amen, me jota ron waja, o dueta, o duata me loton, me jota kak jar pajan au a.
14 Indeed, I am as a man who does not hear, And in his mouth are no reproofs.
Nai dueta ol amen me jolar ron waja, o jota depuk en lokaia mi nan au ai.
15 Because for You, O YHWH, I have waited, You answer, O Lord my God.
A I kin awiawi Komui Main ai Kot pan kotin japen ia.
16 When I said, “Lest they rejoice over me, In the slipping of my foot they magnified themselves against me.”
Pwe i men, ren der peren kin ia. Ma na I pan krijedi, re pan peren kida melel.
17 For I am ready to halt, And my pain [is] continually before me.
Pwe i koren ion pupedi, o ai kalokolok kin koren ion ia anjau karoj.
18 For I declare my iniquity, I am sorry for my sin.
Pwe I weokada dip ai kano juedeki dip ai.
19 And my enemies [are] lively, They have been strong, and those hating me without cause, Have been multiplied.
A ai imwintiti kan memauretat o irail me kelail; me kailon kin ia ni jota karepa me toto.
20 And those paying evil for good accuse me, Because of my pursuing good.
O me kin depukki ai me mau me jued, kin palian ia, pweki ai dadaurata me mau.
21 Do not forsake me, O YHWH, My God, do not be far from me,
Ieowa ai Kot, kom der muei jan ia o der doowei jan ia!
22 Hurry to help me, O Lord, my salvation!
Kom kotin madan don ia, Main jauja pa i.
