< Psalms 38 >
1 A PSALM OF DAVID. “TO CAUSE TO REMEMBER.” YHWH, do not reprove me in Your wrath, Nor discipline me in Your fury.
O Yahweh, saannak a tubngaren iti ungetmo; saannak a dusaen iti pungtotmo.
2 For Your arrows have come down on me, And You let down Your hand on me.
Ta sinugatnak dagiti panam; ken italtalmegnak dagiti imam.
3 Soundness is not in my flesh, Because of Your indignation, Peace is not in my bones, Because of my sin.
Masakit ti entero a bagik gapu iti ungetmo, saan a nasalun-at dagiti tulangko gapu iti basolko.
4 For my iniquities have passed over my head, As a heavy burden—too heavy for me.
Ta linapunosnak dagiti kinadakesko; nadagsenda unay nga awitko.
5 Stunk—my wounds have become corrupt, Because of my folly.
Agnunog ken bumangsit dagiti sugatko gapu kadagiti minamaag a basbasolko.
6 I have been bent down, I have been bowed down—to excess, I have gone mourning all the day.
Nagdumog ken naibabainak iti inaldaw; agdungdung-awak nga agmalmalem.
7 For my flanks have been full of drought, And soundness is not in my flesh.
Ta inabaknak ti bain, ket agsaksakit ti entero a bagik.
8 I have been feeble and struck—to excess, I have roared from disquietude of heart.
Agpipikel ken agkakapsutak; agasugak gapu iti ut-ot ti pusok.
9 Lord, all my desire [is] before You, And my sighing has not been hid from You.
O Apo, maawatam dagiti tarigagay ti kaunggan ti pusok, ket saan a mailemmeng kenka dagiti as-asugko.
10 My heart [is] panting, my power has forsaken me, And the light of my eyes, Even they are not with me.
Agkebbakebba ti pusok, agkakapsutak, ken aglidem ti panagkitak.
11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from before my plague. And my neighbors have stood far off.
Inadaywannak dagiti gagayyem ken kakaduak gapu iti kasasaadko; saandak nga asitgan dagiti kaarrubak.
12 And those seeking my soul lay a snare, And those seeking my evil Have spoken mischievous things, And they meditate [on] deceits all the day.
Agipakat kadagiti silo para kaniak dagiti agpanggep iti biagko. Agmalmalem nga agsasao kadagiti makadadael ken makaallilaw a sasao dagiti agtarigagay a mangdangran kaniak.
13 And I, as deaf, do not hear. And as a mute one who does not open his mouth.
Ngem siak, kaslaak maysa a tuleng a tao nga awan pulos mangngegna; kaslaak maysa nga umel a tao nga awan pulos maibagana.
14 Indeed, I am as a man who does not hear, And in his mouth are no reproofs.
Kaslaak maysa a tao a saan a makangngeg ken awan maisungbatna.
15 Because for You, O YHWH, I have waited, You answer, O Lord my God.
Awan duadua, nga urayenka, O Yahweh; sumungbatka, Apo a Diosko.
16 When I said, “Lest they rejoice over me, In the slipping of my foot they magnified themselves against me.”
Ibagak daytoy tapno saandak a pagkakatawaan dagiti kabusorko. No maikaglis ti sakak, agaramidda kadagiti nakaam-amak a banbanag kaniak.
17 For I am ready to halt, And my pain [is] continually before me.
Ta dandaniakon maitublak, ket kanayon nga agsagsagabaak.
18 For I declare my iniquity, I am sorry for my sin.
Ipudnok ti basolko; maseknanak iti nagbasolak.
19 And my enemies [are] lively, They have been strong, and those hating me without cause, Have been multiplied.
Ngem adu dagiti kabusorko, adu dagiti gumurgura kaniak nga awan gapgapuna.
20 And those paying evil for good accuse me, Because of my pursuing good.
Sinubadanda iti kinadakes ti kinaimbagko; pabpabasolendak uray no ikalikagumko ti nasayaat.
21 Do not forsake me, O YHWH, My God, do not be far from me,
Saannak a panawan, O Yahweh; a Diosko, saanka nga umadayo kaniak.
22 Hurry to help me, O Lord, my salvation!
Darasem ti umay a tumulong kaniak, O Apo, a salakanko.
