Psalms 36
1 TO THE OVERSEER. BY A SERVANT OF YHWH, BY DAVID. The transgression of the wicked Is affirming within my heart, “Fear of God is not before his eyes,
La transgresión del impío habla a su corazón. No hay temor a ʼElohim delante de sus ojos.
2 For he made [it] smooth to himself in his eyes, To find his iniquity to be hated.
Se jacta ante sus propios ojos De que su iniquidad no será descubierta ni aborrecida.
3 The words of his mouth [are] iniquity and deceit, He ceased to act prudently—to do good.
Las palabras de su boca son iniquidad y engaño. Dejó de ser sabio, de hacer el bien.
4 He devises iniquity on his bed, He stations himself on a way not good, He does not refuse evil.”
Trama iniquidad sobre su cama. Se mantiene en camino no bueno. No aborrece lo malo.
5 O YHWH, Your kindness [is] in the heavens, Your faithfulness [is] to the clouds.
Oh Yavé, tu misericordia llega hasta el cielo, Y hasta las nubes tu fidelidad.
6 Your righteousness [is] as mountains of God, Your judgments [are] a great deep. You save man and beast, O YHWH.
Tu justicia es como las montañas de ʼEL, Tus juicios, como inmenso abismo. Tú, oh Yavé, preservas al hombre y la bestia.
7 How precious [is] Your kindness, O God, And the sons of men trust In the shadow of Your wings.
¡Oh ʼElohim, cuán preciosa es tu misericordia! Por eso los hombres se amparan bajo la sombra de tus alas.
8 They are filled from the fatness of Your house, And You cause them to drink the stream of Your delights.
Son plenamente saciados con la abundancia de tu casa, Les das de beber del torrente de tus delicias.
9 For a fountain of life [is] with You, In Your light we see light.
Porque contigo está el manantial de la vida. En tu luz vemos la luz.
10 Draw out Your kindness to those knowing You, And Your righteousness to the upright of heart.
Extiende tu misericordia a los que te conocen, Y tu justicia a los rectos de corazón.
11 Do not let a foot of pride meet me, And do not let a hand of the wicked move me.
No me alcance el pie de la soberbia, Ni me mueva la mano del inicuo.
12 Workers of iniquity have fallen there, They have been overthrown, And have not been able to arise!
Ahí cayeron los que obran iniquidad, Fueron derribados, Y no pueden levantarse.
