Psalms 36

1 TO THE OVERSEER. BY A SERVANT OF YHWH, BY DAVID. The transgression of the wicked Is affirming within my heart, “Fear of God is not before his eyes,

上主的僕人達味作，交與樂官。 惡人從心裏就喜愛不義，他毫無敬愛天主的誠意。

2 For he made [it] smooth to himself in his eyes, To find his iniquity to be hated.

他只是在自己的心裏自慰：無人發現他的罪，無人懲治。

3 The words of his mouth [are] iniquity and deceit, He ceased to act prudently—to do good.

他滿口盡是虛偽與詐欺，早已把智慧與善行拋棄。

4 He devises iniquity on his bed, He stations himself on a way not good, He does not refuse evil.”

他在床上籌畫作惡，立於邪道，不怕罪過。

5 O YHWH, Your kindness [is] in the heavens, Your faithfulness [is] to the clouds.

上主，你的慈愛高達青天，你的忠義上徹雲間。

6 Your righteousness [is] as mountains of God, Your judgments [are] a great deep. You save man and beast, O YHWH.

你的正義有如摩天的高山，你的公平有如無底的深淵；上主使人畜生命安全。

7 How precious [is] Your kindness, O God, And the sons of men trust In the shadow of Your wings.

天主，你的慈愛多麼可貴可珍，人子們都向你的護翼下投奔。

8 They are filled from the fatness of Your house, And You cause them to drink the stream of Your delights.

他們不但飽嘗你宮殿中的盛筵，你還賜他們暢飲你人怡人的溪川。

9 For a fountain of life [is] with You, In Your light we see light.

因為在你那裏有生命的泉源，藉的光明才能把光明看見。

10 Draw out Your kindness to those knowing You, And Your righteousness to the upright of heart.

求你為恭你的人保留恩寵，並為心地正直的人保持公平。

11 Do not let a foot of pride meet me, And do not let a hand of the wicked move me.

求你不要高傲人的腳踐踏我，求你不要讓罪惡人的手騷擾我。

12 Workers of iniquity have fallen there, They have been overthrown, And have not been able to arise!

請看! 作惡的人己經一敗塗地，他們既已傾倒，無法重新興起。
