< Psalms 35 >

1 BY DAVID. Strive, YHWH, with my strivers, fight with my fighters,
[Psalm lal David] LEUM GOD, lainulos su lainyu, Ac mweunelos su mweun lainyu!
2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and rise for my help,
Srukak mwe loeyuk ac mwe loang lom Ac fahsru moliyula.
3 And draw out spear and lance, To meet my pursuers. Say to my soul, “I [am] your salvation.”
Srukak osra ac tula in mweun nutum Ac lainulos su ukweyu. Wulema nu sik lah kom ac moliyula.
4 They are ashamed and blush, those seeking my soul, Turned backward and confounded, Those devising my evil.
Lela tuh elos su suk in uniyu Elos in kutangyukla ac akmwekinyeyuk! Lela tuh elos su kinauk pwapa koluk in lainyu Elos in folokinyukla ac akfohsyeyukyak!
5 They are as chaff before wind, And a messenger of YHWH driving away.
Lela tuh elos in oana loa su eng uh okla Ke lipufan lun LEUM GOD ukwalos.
6 Their way is darkness and slipperiness, And a messenger of YHWH—their pursuer.
Lela tuh inkanek lalos in lohsr ac musresre Ke lipufan lun LEUM GOD srunglulosi!
7 For without cause they hid their net [in] a pit for me, Without cause they dug for my soul.
Elos filiya mwe kwasrip in sruokyu ke wanginna sripa, Ac elos pukanak luf loal tuh in sruokyu.
8 Desolation meets him—he does not know, And his net that he hid catches him, He falls into it for desolation.
Tusruktu kunausten ac fah sruokolosi meet liki elos etu; Elos ac fah sremla in kwasrip lalos sifacna Ac putatyang nu in kunausten.
9 And my soul is joyful in YHWH, It rejoices in His salvation.
Na nga ac fah engan ke sripen LEUM GOD; Nga ac fah engan mweyen El moliyula.
10 All my bones say, “YHWH, who is like You, Delivering the poor from the [one] stronger than he, And the poor and needy from his plunderer.”
Ke insiuk nufon nga ac fah fahk nu sin LEUM GOD, “Wangin sie oana kom. Kom loangulosla su munas, liki elos su ku, Ac mwet sukasrup, liki poun mwet funmwet.”
11 Violent witnesses rise up, That which I have not known they ask me.
Mwet koluk elos orek loh lainyu Ac akkolukyeyu ke ma koluk su wangin etu luk kac.
12 They pay me evil for good, bereaving my soul,
Elos folokin nu sik ma koluk ke ma wo, Ac forteya nunak luk.
13 And I—in their sickness my clothing [is] sackcloth, I have humbled my soul with fastings, And my prayer returns to my bosom.
A ke elos mas, nga nuknukyang ke nuknuk in asor; Nga lafwekinyu sifacna ac tia eis mwe mongo; Nga kui nwe ten ke nga pre,
14 As [if] a friend, as [if] my brother, I habitually walked, As a mourner for a mother, I have bowed down mourning.
Oana ngan pre ke sie mwet kawuk luk, ku sie tamulel wiuk. Nga fahsr kui ke asor luk, Oana mwet se su asor ke nina kial sifacna.
15 And they have rejoiced in my halting, And have been gathered together, The strikers were gathered against me, And I have not known, They have torn, and they have not ceased;
A ke nga muta in ongoiya, elos nukewa engan Ac fahsreni in aksruksrukyeyu; Mwetsac elos puokyu Ac sringilyu.
16 With profane ones, mockers in feasts, Gnashing their teeth against me.
Elos sracsralik nu sik ke kasrkusrak, Oana sie mwet funmwet el aksruksruki sie mwet sukapas.
17 Lord, how long do You behold? Keep my soul back from their desolations, My only one from young lions.
Leum, putaka kom ac suiyuwi ac tia kasreyu? Karinginyu liki mwet su orek lokoalok nu sik; Moliyula liki lion inge!
18 I thank You in a great assembly, I praise You among a mighty people.
Na nga fah fahk kulo nu sum in walil lun mwet lom; Nga ac fah kaksakin kom ye mutalos nukewa.
19 Do not let my enemies rejoice over me [with] falsehood, Those hating me without cause wink the eye.
Nikmet lela mwet lokoalok luk, su kikiap, In engankin munas luk. Nikmet lela elos su srungayu ke wangin sripa In pwarkin asor luk.
20 For they do not speak peace, And against the quiet of the land, They devise deceitful words,
Tuh elos tia kaskas in kulang; A elos kinauk kain in kikiap nukewa ke mwet su lungse suk misla.
21 And they enlarge their mouth against me, They said, “Aha, aha, our eye has seen.”
Elos akkolukyeyu ac fahk, “Kut liye na ma kom oru!”
22 You have seen, O YHWH, Do not be silent, O Lord—do not be far from me,
Tusruktu, LEUM GOD, kom liye na ma inge. Nikmet misla, Leum; Nik kom loesla likiyu.
23 Stir up, and wake to my judgment, My God, and my Lord, to my plea.
Mukuiyak, O Leum God, ac kasreyu; Tuyak, Leum God luk, ac oru tuh nununku suwohs in wiyu.
24 Judge me according to Your righteousness, O YHWH my God, And they do not rejoice over me.
LEUM GOD, kom suwoswos, ke ma inge akkalemye lah wangin mwetik; Nikmet lela tuh mwet lokoalok luk elos in aksruksrukyeyu.
25 They do not say in their heart, “Aha, our desire.” They do not say, “We swallowed him up.”
Nikmet lela elos in fahk insialos mu, “Kut kunausulla! Sun na pwaye lungse lasr!”
26 They are ashamed and confounded together, Who are rejoicing at my evil. They put on shame and confusion, Who are magnifying themselves against me.
Finsrak tuh elos nukewa su engankin keok luk In arulana kutangyukla ac akfohsyeyukyak; Lela tuh elos su fahk mu elos wo likiyu In akmwekinyeyuk ac akpusiselyeyuk.
27 They sing and rejoice, who are desiring my righteousness, And they continually say, “YHWH is magnified, Who is desiring the peace of His servant.”
Lela tuh elos su wiyu lac, In sasa ke engan ac fahk, “LEUM GOD El fulatlana! El insewowo ke kutangla lun mwet kulansap lal.”
28 And my tongue utters Your righteousness, All the day Your praise!
Na nga ac fah fahkak ke suwoswos lom, Ac nga ac fah kaksakin kom len nufon.
