< Psalms 35 >

1 BY DAVID. Strive, YHWH, with my strivers, fight with my fighters,
Yon Sòm David Fè fòs SENYÈ, kont (sila) k ap sèvi ak fòs kont mwen yo. Goumen ak (sila) k ap goumen kont mwen yo.
2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and rise for my help,
Pran an men boukliye ak pwotèj la, epi leve kon sekou mwen.
3 And draw out spear and lance, To meet my pursuers. Say to my soul, “I [am] your salvation.”
Anplis rale lans ak rach batay la pou rankontre (sila) k ap kouri dèyè m yo. Pale ak nanm mwen “Se Mwen ki delivrans ou”!
4 They are ashamed and blush, those seeking my soul, Turned backward and confounded, Those devising my evil.
Kite (sila) k ap chache lavi m yo vin wont e dezonere. Kite sa yo ki anvizaje mal pou mwen Vire do fè bak plen imiliyasyon.
5 They are as chaff before wind, And a messenger of YHWH driving away.
Kite yo vin tankou pay nan van, avèk zanj SENYÈ a k ap pouse yo ale.
6 Their way is darkness and slipperiness, And a messenger of YHWH—their pursuer.
Kite wout yo plen avèk tenèb e vin glisan, Avèk zanj SENYÈ a k ap kouri dèyè yo.
7 For without cause they hid their net [in] a pit for me, Without cause they dug for my soul.
Paske san koz, yo te kache pèlen yo pou mwen. San koz, yo te fouye yon fòs pou nanm mwen.
8 Desolation meets him—he does not know, And his net that he hid catches him, He falls into it for desolation.
Kite l fin detwi nèt san l pa konnen. Kite pèlen ke li te prepare a, kenbe li menm. Kite l tonbe nan destriksyon sa a.
9 And my soul is joyful in YHWH, It rejoices in His salvation.
Nanm mwen va rejwi nan SENYÈ a. Li va leve wo nan delivrans Li.
10 All my bones say, “YHWH, who is like You, Delivering the poor from the [one] stronger than he, And the poor and needy from his plunderer.”
Tout zo m menm va di: “SENYÈ, se kilès ki tankou Ou menm? Kilès ki delivre aflije yo nan men a (sila) ki twò fò pou li yo? Wi, ak aflije e malere yo k ap soti nan men a (sila) menm k ap vòlè yo?”
11 Violent witnesses rise up, That which I have not known they ask me.
Fo temwen sovaj yo leve. Yo mande mwen bagay ke m pa menm konnen.
12 They pay me evil for good, bereaving my soul,
Yo remèt mwen mal pou byen, jiskaske gwo tristès antre nan nanm mwen.
13 And I—in their sickness my clothing [is] sackcloth, I have humbled my soul with fastings, And my prayer returns to my bosom.
Men pou mwen menm, lè yo te malad, rad mwen te vin twal sak; Mwen te imilye nanm mwen nan fè jèn, epi lapriyè m te kontinye retounen nan kè m.
14 As [if] a friend, as [if] my brother, I habitually walked, As a mourner for a mother, I have bowed down mourning.
Mwen te ale toupatou konsi se te zanmi mwen, oswa frè mwen. Mwen te koube ak gwo tristès, tankou yon moun ta fè dèy pou manman li.
15 And they have rejoiced in my halting, And have been gathered together, The strikers were gathered against me, And I have not known, They have torn, and they have not ceased;
Men moman ke m te chape tonbe a, yo te rejwi, e te reyini yo ansanm. San ke mwen pa menm konnen, agresè sa yo te rasanble kont mwen. Yo t ap chire m san rete.
16 With profane ones, mockers in feasts, Gnashing their teeth against me.
Kon giyon vilgè, yo te fè konsi yo ta mòde m ak dan yo.
17 Lord, how long do You behold? Keep my soul back from their desolations, My only one from young lions.
SENYÈ, jiskilè Ou va kontinye gade bagay sa a konsa? Sove nanm mwen kont ravaj yo, Sèl lavi mwen genyen kont lyon yo.
18 I thank You in a great assembly, I praise You among a mighty people.
Mwen va bay Ou remèsiman nan gran asanble a. Mwen va bay Ou glwa pami yon gran foul.
19 Do not let my enemies rejoice over me [with] falsehood, Those hating me without cause wink the eye.
Pa kite (sila) ki lènmi m san koz yo, rejwi sou mwen. Ni pa kite (sila) ki rayi mwen san koz yo, fè kout zye sou mwen.
20 For they do not speak peace, And against the quiet of the land, They devise deceitful words,
Paske yo pa pale lapè, men yo divize pawòl nan twonpe (sila) ki kalm nan peyi yo.
21 And they enlarge their mouth against me, They said, “Aha, aha, our eye has seen.”
Yo te ouvri bouch yo laj kont mwen. Yo te di: “Men li, men li, zye nou te wè l!”
22 You have seen, O YHWH, Do not be silent, O Lord—do not be far from me,
Ou te wè sa, O SENYÈ, pa rete an silans O SENYÈ, pa rete lwen m.
23 Stir up, and wake to my judgment, My God, and my Lord, to my plea.
Reveye Ou! Reveye Ou pou dwa m ak koz mwen, Bondye mwen ak SENYÈ mwen.
24 Judge me according to Your righteousness, O YHWH my God, And they do not rejoice over me.
Jije mwen, O SENYÈ, Bondye mwen an, selon dwati Ou. Pa kite yo rejwi sou mwen.
25 They do not say in their heart, “Aha, our desire.” They do not say, “We swallowed him up.”
Pa kite yo di nan kè yo: “Men konsa, men sa nou pi pito a!” Pa kite yo di: “Nou gen tan fin vale li nèt!”
26 They are ashamed and confounded together, Who are rejoicing at my evil. They put on shame and confusion, Who are magnifying themselves against me.
Kite (sila) ki rejwi nan gwo twoub mwen yo wont. Kite (sila) ki leve yo menm sou mwen yo vin abiye ak wont avèk imilyasyon.
27 They sing and rejoice, who are desiring my righteousness, And they continually say, “YHWH is magnified, Who is desiring the peace of His servant.”
Kite (sila) ki vle wè kòz dwat mwen yo rele avèk jwa e rejwi. Kite yo di tout tan: “Leve SENYÈ a wo, Li ki pran plezi lè sèvitè li byen reyisi.”
28 And my tongue utters Your righteousness, All the day Your praise!
Konsa, lang mwen va deklare ladwati Ou avèk lwanj Ou tout lajounen.
