Psalms 34
1 BY DAVID, IN HIS CHANGING HIS BEHAVIOR BEFORE ABIMELECH, AND HE DRIVES HIM AWAY, AND HE GOES. [ALEPH-BET] I bless YHWH at all times, His praise [is] continually in my mouth.
Bendeciré al Señor en todo momento; su alabanza estará siempre en mi boca.
2 In YHWH my soul boasts herself, The humble hear and rejoice.
Mi alma dirá grandes cosas del Señor: los mansos lo oirán, lo conocerán y se alegrarán.
3 Ascribe greatness to YHWH with me, And we exalt His Name together.
¡Alaban al Señor conmigo! Exaltemos juntos su gran nombre.
4 I sought YHWH, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.
Estaba buscando al Señor, y él escuchó mi voz y me liberó de todos mis temores.
5 They looked expectingly to Him, And they became bright, And their faces are not ashamed.
Los que vuelven sus ojos hacia él y quedan radiantes de alegría, y sus rostros no serán avergonzado.
6 This poor [one] called, and YHWH heard, And saved him from all his distresses.
Este pobre gritó delante del Señor, le oyó, y le dio la salvación de todos sus problemas.
7 A messenger of YHWH is encamping, Around those who fear Him, And He arms them.
El ángel del Señor velará siempre a los que le temen, para que estén a salvo.
8 Taste and see that YHWH [is] good, O the blessedness of the man who trusts in Him.
Prueben, verán que el Señor es bueno; Feliz es el hombre que confía en él.
9 Fear YHWH, you His holy ones, For there is no lack to those fearing Him.
Honren a Jehová, todos ustedes sus santos; para aquellos que lo hagan no tendrán necesidad de nada.
10 Young lions have lacked and been hungry, And those seeking YHWH do not lack any good,
Los leoncillos están necesitados y no tienen comida; pero aquellos que buscan al Señor tendrán todo lo bueno.
11 Come, children, listen to me, I teach you the fear of YHWH.
Vengan, niños, presten atención a mí; Seré tu maestro en el temor del Señor.
12 Who [is] the man that is desiring life? Loving days to see good?
¿Qué hombre tiene amor por la vida, y un deseo de que sus días se incrementen para que pueda ver el bien?
13 Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit.
Guarda tu lengua del mal, y tus labios de palabras de engaño.
14 Turn aside from evil and do good, Seek peace and pursue it.
Apártate del mal, y haz el bien; busca la paz, deseándola con todo tu corazón.
15 The eyes of YHWH [are] to the righteous, And His ears to their cry.
Los ojos del Señor están sobre los justos. y sus oídos están atentos a su clamor.
16 (The face of YHWH [is] on doers of evil, To cut off their memorial from earth.)
El rostro del Señor contra los que hacen el mal, para borrar de la tierra la memoria de ellos.
17 They cried, and YHWH heard, And delivered them from all their distresses.
El clamor de los justos viene delante del Señor, y él los oye, los saca de todas sus angustias.
18 YHWH [is] near to the broken of heart, And He saves the bruised of spirit.
El Señor está cerca de los quebrantados de corazón; él es el salvador de aquellos cuyos espíritus son contritos.
19 Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous, YHWH delivers him out of them all.
Grandes son los males de los justos; pero el Señor lo saca a salvo de todos ellos.
20 He is keeping all his bones, Not one of them has been broken.
Él guarda todos sus huesos; ni uno solo le romperán.
21 Evil puts the wicked to death, And those hating the righteous are desolate.
El mal pondrá fin al pecador, y los que aborrecen la justicia vendrán a la destrucción.
22 YHWH redeems the soul of His servants, And none trusting in Him are desolate!
El Señor será el salvador de las almas de sus siervos, y nadie que confía en él será avergonzado.
