Psalms 29

1 A PSALM OF DAVID. Ascribe to YHWH, you sons of the mighty, Ascribe to YHWH glory and strength.

१दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. स्वर्गदूतहो, परमेश्वरास गौरव आणि सामर्थ्य आहे असे कबूल करा.

2 Ascribe to YHWH the glory of His Name, Bow yourselves to YHWH, In the beauty of holiness.

२परमेश्वरास त्याच्या वैभवी नावाचे श्रेय द्या; पावित्र्याने युक्त होऊन परमेश्वराची आराधना करा.

3 The voice of YHWH [is] on the waters, The God of glory has thundered, YHWH [is] on many waters.

३परमेश्वराचा आवाज जलांवरून ऐकण्यात आला, गौरवशाली देव गर्जत आहे, परमेश्वर पुष्कळ जलांवर गर्जत आहे.

4 The voice of YHWH [is] with power, The voice of YHWH [is] with majesty,

४परमेश्वराचा आवाज सामर्थशाली आहे, परमेश्वराचा आवाज चमत्कारीक आहे.

5 The voice of YHWH [is] shattering cedars, Indeed, YHWH shatters the cedars of Lebanon.

५परमेश्वराची वाणी देवदार वृक्षाला तोडते, परमेश्वर लबानोनाच्या देवदार वृक्षाचे तुकडे करतो.

6 And He causes them to skip as a calf, Lebanon and Sirion as a son of Reems,

६तो लबानोनला वासराप्रमाणे आणि सिर्योनला तरुण बैलाप्रमाणे बागडायला लावतो.

7 The voice of YHWH is hewing fiery flames,

७परमेश्वराची वाणी अग्नी ज्वालासह हल्ला करते.

8 The voice of YHWH pains a wilderness, YHWH pains the wilderness of Kadesh.

८परमेश्वराची वाणी वाळवंटाला कंपित करते कादेशचे वाळवंट परमेश्वराच्या वाणीने हादरते.

9 The voice of YHWH pains the oaks, And makes bare the forests, And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”

९परमेश्वराची वाणी हरणाला प्रसवयास लावते आणि अरण्य पर्णहीन करते. पण त्याच्या मंदिरात सर्व “महिमा!” गातात

10 YHWH has sat on the flood, And YHWH sits [as] king for all time,

१०महापुरावर परमेश्वर राजा बसला आहे, आणि परमेश्वरच सर्वकाळचा राजा म्हणून बसला आहे.

11 YHWH gives strength to His people, YHWH blesses His people with peace!

११परमेश्वर त्याच्या लोकांना सामर्थ्य देतो, परमेश्वर त्याच्या लोकांना शांतीने आशीर्वादित करतो.
