Psalms 24

1 A PSALM OF DAVID. To YHWH [is] the earth and its fullness, The world and the inhabitants in it.

Ihubo likaDavida. Umhlaba ngokaThixo, lakho konke okukuwo, ilizwe labo bonke abahlala kulo;

2 For He has founded it on the seas, And He establishes it on the floods.

ngoba wenza isisekelo sawo phezu kolwandle wawumisa phezu kwamanzi.

3 Who goes up into the hill of YHWH? And who rises up in His holy place?

Ngubani ongaqansa intaba kaThixo na? Ngubani ongema endaweni yakhe engcwele na?

4 The clean of hands, and pure of heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, Nor has sworn to deceit.

Ngulowo olezandla ezihlanzekileyo lenhliziyo emhlophe, ongaphakamiseli umphefumulo wakhe kunkulunkulu wamanga loba afunge ngenkohliso.

5 He carries away a blessing from YHWH, Righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Uzakwamukela isibusiso kuThixo lokukhululwa kuNkulunkulu uMsindisi wakhe.

6 This [is] a generation of those seeking Him. Seeking Your face, O Jacob! (Selah)

Sinjalo isizukulwane salabo abamdingayo, abadinga ubuso Bakho, Oh Nkulunkulu kaJakhobe.

7 Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O perpetual doors! And the King of Glory comes in!

Phakamisani amakhanda enu, lina masango; phakamani, lina minyango yekadeni, ukuba iNkosi yenkazimulo ingene.

8 Who [is] this—“the King of Glory?” YHWH—strong and mighty, YHWH, the mighty in battle.

Ngubani iNkosi yenkazimulo? NguThixo oqinileyo olamandla, uThixo olamandla empini.

9 Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O perpetual doors! And the King of Glory comes in!

Phakamisani amakhanda enu, lina masango; aphakamiseni, lina minyango yekadeni, ukuba iNkosi yenkazimulo ingene.

10 Who [is] He—this “King of Glory?” YHWH of hosts—He [is] the King of Glory! (Selah)

Ungubani na lowo Thixo wenkazimulo? NguThixo uSomandla iNkosi yenkazimulo.
