Psalms 24

1 A PSALM OF DAVID. To YHWH [is] the earth and its fullness, The world and the inhabitants in it.

ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ഭൂമിയും അതിലുള്ള സകലതും യഹോവയ്ക്കുള്ളത്, ഭൂലോകവും അതിൽ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന സകലരും;

2 For He has founded it on the seas, And He establishes it on the floods.

കാരണം, സമുദ്രത്തിന്മേൽ അവിടന്ന് അതിന് അടിസ്ഥാനമിടുകയും ജലവിതാനങ്ങൾക്കുമേൽ അത് സ്ഥാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

3 Who goes up into the hill of YHWH? And who rises up in His holy place?

യഹോവയുടെ പർവതത്തിൽ ആരാണ് കയറിച്ചെല്ലുക? അവിടത്തെ വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥാനത്ത് ആരാണ് നിൽക്കുക?

4 The clean of hands, and pure of heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, Nor has sworn to deceit.

വെടിപ്പുള്ള കൈകളും നിർമലഹൃദയവുമുള്ളവർ, വിഗ്രഹത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കാതെയും വ്യാജശപഥം ചെയ്യാതെയുമിരിക്കുന്നവർതന്നെ.

5 He carries away a blessing from YHWH, Righteousness from the God of his salvation.

അവർ യഹോവയിൽനിന്നുള്ള അനുഗ്രഹം ആസ്വദിക്കുകയും അവരുടെ രക്ഷകനായ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നു കുറ്റവിമുക്തി പ്രാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

6 This [is] a generation of those seeking Him. Seeking Your face, O Jacob! (Selah)

ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവരാകുന്നു അങ്ങയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ തലമുറ, യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, തിരുമുഖം തേടുന്നവർ ഇവർതന്നെ. (സേലാ)

7 Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O perpetual doors! And the King of Glory comes in!

കവാടങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ശിരസ്സ് ഉയർത്തുക; പുരാതന കവാടങ്ങളേ, ഉയരുക, മഹത്ത്വത്തിന്റെ രാജാവ് പ്രവേശിക്കട്ടെ.

8 Who [is] this—“the King of Glory?” YHWH—strong and mighty, YHWH, the mighty in battle.

മഹത്ത്വത്തിന്റെ രാജാവ് ആരാണ്? ശക്തനും വീരനുമായ യഹോവ, യുദ്ധവീരനായ യഹോവതന്നെ.

9 Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O perpetual doors! And the King of Glory comes in!

കവാടങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ശിരസ്സ് ഉയർത്തുക; പുരാതന കവാടങ്ങളേ, ഉയരുക, മഹത്ത്വത്തിന്റെ രാജാവ് പ്രവേശിക്കട്ടെ.

10 Who [is] He—this “King of Glory?” YHWH of hosts—He [is] the King of Glory! (Selah)

മഹത്ത്വത്തിന്റെ രാജാവ് ആരാണ്? സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ— അവിടന്നാണ് മഹത്ത്വത്തിന്റെ രാജാവ്. (സേലാ)
