< Psalms 23 >

1 A PSALM OF DAVID. YHWH [is] my shepherd, I do not lack,
Pisarema raDhavhidhi. Jehovha ndiye mufudzi wangu, hapana chandingashayiwa.
2 He causes me to lie down in pastures of tender grass, He leads me by quiet waters.
Anondivatisa pamafuro manyoro, anondisesedza pamvura inozorodza,
3 He refreshes my soul, He leads me in paths of righteousness For His Name’s sake;
anoponesa mweya wangu. Anondifambisa panzira dzokururama nokuda kwezita rake.
4 Also—when I walk in a valley of death-shade, I fear no evil, for You [are] with me, Your rod and Your staff—they comfort me.
Kunyange ndikafamba nomumupata womumvuri worufu, handingatyi zvakaipa, nokuti imi muneni; tsvimbo yenyu nomudonzvo wenyu zvinondinyaradza.
5 You arrange a table before me, In front of my adversaries, You have anointed my head with oil, My cup is full!
Munondigadzirira tafura pamberi pavavengi vangu. Munozodza musoro wangu namafuta; mukombe wangu unopfachukira.
6 Surely goodness and kindness pursue me All the days of my life, And my dwelling [is] in the house of YHWH, For [the] length of [my] days!
Zvirokwazvo kunaka kwenyu norudo rwenyu zvichanditevera, mazuva ose oupenyu hwangu, uye ndichagara mumba maJehovha nokusingaperi.
