< Psalms 23 >

1 A PSALM OF DAVID. YHWH [is] my shepherd, I do not lack,

2 He causes me to lie down in pastures of tender grass, He leads me by quiet waters.

3 He refreshes my soul, He leads me in paths of righteousness For His Name’s sake;
Ka hinglu han thoelh tih, amah ming ham duengnah namtlak ah kai m'mawt
4 Also—when I walk in a valley of death-shade, I fear no evil, for You [are] with me, Your rod and Your staff—they comfort me.
Dueknah hlipkhup kolrhawk ah ka caeh vaengah pataeng, nang loh namah kah mancai neh kai nan om puei tih, na conghol loh kai n'hloep dongah yoethaenah khaw ka rhih pawh.
5 You arrange a table before me, In front of my adversaries, You have anointed my head with oil, My cup is full!
Kai aka daengdaeh hmaiah pataeng, kai mikhmuh ah caboei nan tawn. Ka lu he situi neh na men sak tih, ka boengloeng he a coihdanah om.
6 Surely goodness and kindness pursue me All the days of my life, And my dwelling [is] in the house of YHWH, For [the] length of [my] days!
Ka hingnah tue puet te, hnothen neh sitlohnah bueng loh kai n'hloem saeh lamtah, BOEIPA im ah khohnin takuem kho ka sa eh.
