Psalms 22
1 TO THE OVERSEER. [SET] ON “DOE OF THE MORNING.” A PSALM OF DAVID. My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Far from My salvation, The words of My roaring?
ऐ मेरे ख़ुदा! ऐ मेरे ख़ुदा! तूने मुझे क्यूँ छोड़ दिया? तू मेरी मदद और मेरे नाला — ओ — फ़रियाद से क्यूँ दूर रहता है?
2 My God, I call by day, and You do not answer, And by night, and am not silent.
ऐ मेरे ख़ुदा! मै दिन को पुकारता हूँ लेकिन तू जवाब नहीं देता और रात को भी और ख़ामोश नहीं होता।
3 And You [are] holy, Sitting—the Praise of Israel.
लेकिन तू पाक है तू जो इस्राईल के हम्दो — ओ — सना पर तख़्तनशीन है।
4 In You our fathers trusted; They trusted, and You deliver them.
हमारे बाप दादा ने तुझ पर भरोसा किया; उन्होंने भरोसा किया और तूने उसको छुड़ाया।
5 To You they cried, and were delivered, In You they trusted, and were not disappointed.
उन्होंने तुझ से फ़रियाद की और रिहाई पाई; उन्होंने तुझ पर भरोसा किया और शर्मिंदा न हुए।
6 And I [am] a worm, and no man, A reproach of man, and despised of the people.
लेकिन मै तो कीड़ा हूँ, इंसान नहीं; आदमियों में अन्गुश्तनुमा हूँ और लोगों में हक़ीर।
7 All beholding Me mock at Me, They make free with the lip—shake the head,
वह सब जो मुझे देखते हैं, मेरा मज़ाक़ उड़ाते हैं; वह मुँह चिड़ाते, वह सर हिलाकर कहते हैं,
8 “Roll to YHWH, He delivers Him, He delivers Him, for He delighted in Him.”
“अपने को ख़ुदावन्द के सुपुर्द कर दे वही उसे छुड़ाए, जब कि वह उससे ख़ुश है तो वही उसे छुड़ाए।”
9 For You [are] He bringing Me forth from the womb, Causing Me to trust, On the breasts of My mother.
लेकिन तु ही मुझे पेट से बहार लाया; जब मैं छोटा बच्चा ही था, तूने मुझे भरोसा करना सिखाया।
10 On You I have been cast from the womb, From the belly of My mother You [are] My God.
मैं पैदाइश ही से तुझ पर छोड़ा गया, मेरी माँ के पेट ही से तू मेरा ख़ुदा है।
11 Do not be far from Me, For adversity is near, for there is no helper.
मुझ से दूर न रह क्यूँकि मुसीबत क़रीब है, इसलिए कि कोई मददगार नहीं।
12 Many bulls have surrounded Me, Mighty ones of Bashan have surrounded Me,
बहुत से साँडों ने मुझे घेर लिया है, बसन के ताक़तवर साँड मुझे घेरे हुए हैं।
13 They have opened their mouth against Me, A lion tearing and roaring.
वह फाड़ने और गरजने वाले बबर की तरह मुझ पर अपना मूंह पसारे हुए हैं।
14 I have been poured out as waters, And all my bones have separated themselves, My heart has been like wax, It is melted in the midst of My bowels.
मैं पानी की तरह बह गया मेरी सब हड्डियाँ उखड़ गईं। मेरा दिल मोम की तरह हो गया, वह मेरे सीने में पिघल गया।
15 My power is dried up as an earthen vessel, And My tongue is cleaving to My jaws.
मेरी ताक़त ठीकरे की तरह ख़ुश्क हो गई, और मेरी ज़बान मेरे तालू से चिपक गई; और तूने मुझे मौत की ख़ाक में मिला दिया।
16 And You appoint Me to the dust of death, For dogs have surrounded Me, A company of evildoers has surrounded Me, Piercing My hands and My feet.
क्यूँकि कुत्तो ने मुझे घेर लिया है; बदकारो की गिरोह मुझे घेरे हुए है; वह हाथ और मेरे पाँव छेदते हैं।
17 I count all My bones—they look expectingly, They look on Me,
मैं अपनी सब हड्डियाँ गिन सकता हूँ; वह मुझे ताकते और घूरते हैं।
18 They apportion My garments to themselves, And they cause a lot to fall for My clothing.
वह मेरे कपड़े आपस में बाँटते हैं, और मेरी पोशाक पर पर्ची डालते हैं।
19 And You, O YHWH, do not be far off, O My strength, hurry to help Me.
लेकिन तू ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, दूर न रह! ऐ मेरे चारासाज़, मेरी मदद के लिए जल्दी कर!
20 Deliver My soul from the sword, My only one from the paw of a dog.
मेरी जान को तलवार से बचा, मेरी जान को कुत्ते के क़ाबू से।
21 Save Me from the mouth of a lion And You have answered Me from the horns of the high places!
मुझे बबर के मुँह से बचा, बल्कि तूने साँडों के सींगों में से मुझे छुड़ाया है।
22 I declare Your Name to My brothers, In the midst of the assembly I praise You.
मैं अपने भाइयों से तेरे नाम का इज़हार करूँगा; जमा'अत में तेरी सिताइश करूँगा।
23 You who fear YHWH, praise Him, All the seed of Jacob, honor Him, And be afraid of Him, all you seed of Israel.
ऐ ख़ुदावन्द से डरने वालों, उसकी सिताइश करो! ऐ या'क़ूब की औलाद, सब उसकी तम्जीद करो! और ऐ इस्राईल की नसल, सब उसका डर मानो!
24 For He has not despised, nor detested, The affliction of the afflicted, Nor has He hidden His face from Him, And in His crying to Him He hears.
क्यूँकि उसने न तो मुसीबत ज़दा की मुसीबत को हक़ीर जाना न उससे नफ़रत की, न उससे अपना मुँह छिपाया; बल्कि जब उसने ख़ुदा से फ़रियाद की तो उसने सुन ली।
25 Of You My praise [is] in the great assembly. I complete My vows before His fearers.
बड़े मजमे' में मेरी सना ख़्वानी का जरिया' तू ही है; मैं उस से डरने वालों के सामने अपनी नज़्रे अदा करूँगा।
26 The humble eat and are satisfied, Those seeking Him praise YHWH, Your heart lives forever.
हलीम खाएँगे और सेर होंगे; ख़ुदावन्द के तालिब उसकी सिताइश करेंगे। तुम्हारा दिल हमेशा तक ज़िन्दा रहे।
27 Remember and return to YHWH, Do all the ends of the earth, And bow themselves before You, Do all families of the nations,
सारी दुनिया ख़ुदावन्द को याद करेगी और उसकी तरफ़ रूजू' लाएगी; और क़ौमों के सब घराने तेरे सामने सिज्दा करेंगे।
28 For to YHWH [is] the kingdom, And He is ruling among nations.
क्यूँकि सल्तनत ख़ुदावन्द की है, वही क़ौमों पर हाकिम है।
29 And the fat ones of earth have eaten, And they bow themselves, All going down to dust bow before Him, And he [who] has not revived his soul.
दुनिया के सब आसूदा हाल लोग खाएँगे और सिज्दा करेंगे; वह सब जो ख़ाक में मिल जाते हैं उसके सामने झुकेंगे, बल्कि वह भी जो अपनी जान को ज़िन्दा नहीं रख सकता।
30 A seed serves Him, It is declared of the Lord to the generation.
एक नसल उसकी बन्दगी करेगी; दूसरी नसल को ख़ुदावन्द की ख़बर दी जाएगी।
31 They come and declare His righteousness, To a people that is born, that He has made!
वह आएँगे और उसकी सदाक़त को एक क़ौम पर जो पैदा होगी यह कहकर ज़ाहिर करेंगे कि उसने यह काम किया है।
