< Psalms 2 >

1 Why have nations assembled tumultuously? And peoples meditate vanity?
Ino ty fidabasida’ o kilakila ondatio, naho ty fikililia’ ondatio raha tsy vente’e.
2 Kings of the earth station themselves, and princes have been united together, against YHWH, and against His Messiah:
Mijohañe o mpanjaka’ ty tane toio, naho mitrao-kinia o mpifeheo hiatreatre am’ Iehovà naho i Noriza’ey, manao ty hoe:
3 “Let us draw off Their cords, And cast Their thick bands from us.”
Antao handrafadrafatse o talirandra’ iareoo, le hahimpan-tika o rohi’ iareoo.
4 He who is sitting in the heavens laughs, The Lord mocks at them.
Miankahake i mpiambesatse an-dindiñey; mitsikìke iareo t’i Talè.
5 Then He speaks to them in His anger, and in His wrath He troubles them:
Fa ho trevohe’e an-keloke, vaho hampinevenevere’e am-pifombo’e:
6 “And I have anointed My King, On Zion—My holy hill.”
Toe izaho ty nañoriñe ty Mpanjakako e Tsiône ao amy vohiko miavakey.
7 I declare concerning a statute: YHWH said to me, “You [are] My Son, today I have brought You forth.
Sokireko ho lily: hoe t’Iehovà amako: Anako irehe, anindroany ty nampiareñako azo.
8 Ask of Me and I give nations [as] Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth [for] Your possession.
Mihalalia amako le hampandovaeko Azo o fifeheañeo, naho ho fanaña’o o olon-taneo.
9 You rule them with a scepter of iron, You crush them as a vessel of a potter.”
Ho pozahe’o am-bodam-by; Hampijeñajeñahe’e hoe siniharam-panao valàñe-tane.
10 And now, O kings, act wisely, Be instructed, O judges of earth,
Aa le mahihira ry mpanjakao; Mimetea oke ry mpizaka’ ty tane toio.
11 Serve YHWH with fear, And rejoice with trembling.
Toroño am-pañeveñañe t’Iehovà, vaho mirebeha am-pineveneverañe;
12 Kiss the Chosen One [[or Son]], lest He is angry, And you perish [from] the way, When His anger burns but a little, O the blessedness of all trusting in Him!
Ondroho i Anakey tsy mone hiviñera’e, vaho hihomak’ an-dalañe ey nahareo; fa mete hisolebatse aniany ty fifombo’e. Hene haha ze mitsolok’ ama’e.
