Psalms 2

1 Why have nations assembled tumultuously? And peoples meditate vanity?

【默西亞必勝】萬邦為什麼囂張，眾民為什麼妄想？

2 Kings of the earth station themselves, and princes have been united together, against YHWH, and against His Messiah:

世上列民群集一堂，諸侯畢至聚首相商，反抗上主，反抗他的受傅者：

3 “Let us draw off Their cords, And cast Their thick bands from us.”

來！我們掙斷他們的綑綁，我們擺脫他們的繩韁！

4 He who is sitting in the heavens laughs, The Lord mocks at them.

坐於天上者在冷笑，我主對他們在熱嘲。

5 Then He speaks to them in His anger, and in His wrath He troubles them:

在震怒中對他們發言，在氣焰中對他們喝道：

6 “And I have anointed My King, On Zion—My holy hill.”

我已祝聖我的君王，在熙雍我的聖山上。

7 I declare concerning a statute: YHWH said to me, “You [are] My Son, today I have brought You forth.

我要傳報上主的聖旨：上主對我說：你是我的兒子，我今日生了你。

8 Ask of Me and I give nations [as] Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth [for] Your possession.

你向我請求，我必將萬民賜你作產業，我必將八極賜你作領地。

9 You rule them with a scepter of iron, You crush them as a vessel of a potter.”

你必以鐵杖將他們粉碎，就如打破陶匠的瓦器。

10 And now, O kings, act wisely, Be instructed, O judges of earth,

眾王！你們現在應當自覺，大地掌權者！你們應受教：

11 Serve YHWH with fear, And rejoice with trembling.

應以敬愛之情事奉上主，戰戰兢兢向祂跪拜叩首；

12 Kiss the Chosen One [[or Son]], lest He is angry, And you perish [from] the way, When His anger burns but a little, O the blessedness of all trusting in Him!

以免祂發怒將你們滅於中途，因為祂的怒火發怒非常快速。凡一切投奔祂的人真是有福。
