Psalms 18
1 TO THE OVERSEER. BY A SERVANT OF YHWH, BY DAVID, WHO HAS SPOKEN TO YHWH THE WORDS OF THIS SONG IN THE DAY YHWH DELIVERED HIM FROM THE HAND OF ALL HIS ENEMIES, AND FROM THE HAND OF SAUL, AND HE SAYS: I love You, O YHWH, my strength.
【凱旋感恩歌】 上主的僕人達味作，向上主唱了這篇詩歌： 上主，我的力量，我愛慕你。
2 YHWH [is] my rock, and my bulwark, And my deliverer, My God [is] my rock, I trust in Him: My shield, and the horn of my salvation, My high tower.
上主，你是我的磐石、我的保障，我的避難所；你是我的天主，我一心依靠的磐石；你是我的護盾，我救恩的角，我的堡壘。
3 I call on YHWH, the Praised One, And I am saved from my enemies.
我一呼求應受頌揚的上主，我便會從仇敵的手中得救。
4 Cords of death have surrounded me, And streams of the worthless make me afraid.
死亡的狂瀾環圍著我，凶惡的險波驚嚇著我，
陰府的繩韁纏繞著我，喪命的羅網拘絆著我。 (Sheol h7585)
6 In my adversity I call YHWH, And I cry to my God. He hears my voice from His temple, And My cry comes into His ears before Him.
我在急難難當中呼求了上主，向我的天主求助；他由殿中聽我禱告，我的聲音進入祂的耳鼓。
7 And the earth shakes and trembles, And foundations of hills are troubled, And they shake—because He has wrath.
因為上主憤怒填胸，大地立即戰慄震驚，山基陵根搖撼移動。
8 Smoke has gone up from His nostrils, And fire from His mouth consumes, Coals have been kindled by it.
由祂的鼻孔湧出濃煙，由祂的口中噴出烈焰，由祂身上射出火炭。
9 And He inclines the heavens, and comes down, And thick darkness [is] under His feet.
祂使諸天低垂，親自降臨，在祂的腳下面密布濃雲。
10 And He rides on a cherub, and flies, And He flies on wings of wind.
祂乘坐革魯賓飛揚；藉著風的翼羽翱翔。
11 He makes darkness His secret place, Around Him His dwelling place, Darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
祂四周以黑暗作帷帳，以含雨的濃雲為屏障。
12 From the brightness before Him His thick clouds have passed on, Hail and coals of fire.
閃電在祂前輝煌，紅炭發出了火光。
13 And YHWH thunders in the heavens, And the Most High gives forth His voice, Hail and coals of fire.
上主由高天發出雷鳴，至高者吼出祂的呼聲。
14 And He sends His arrows and scatters them, And much lightning, and crushes them.
祂射出羽箭，將人驅散；祂發出閃電，使人逃竄。
15 And the streams of waters are seen, And foundations of the earth are revealed, From Your rebuke, O YHWH, From the breath of the wind of Your anger.
上主的呵斥一呼，鼻孔的怒氣一出，滄海的海底出現，大地的地基露綻。
16 He sends from above—He takes me, He draws me out of many waters.
祂由高處伸手將我拉住，祂由洪水之中將我提出；
17 He delivers me from my strong enemy, And from those hating me, For they have been stronger than I.
救我脫離了我的敵手，擺脫了強於我的仇讎。
18 They go before me in a day of my calamity And YHWH is for a support to me.
他們在我困厄之日襲擊我，然而上主卻作了我的城堡；
19 And He brings me forth to a large place, He draws me out, because He delighted in me.
祂引領我步入廣闊的平原，祂因喜愛我而給了我救援。
20 YHWH repays me According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, He returns to me.
上主照我的正義酬答了我，按我隻手的清白賞報了我；
21 For I have kept the ways of YHWH, And have not done wickedly against my God.
因我遵行了上主的道路，沒有作惡背棄我的天主。
22 For all His judgments [are] before me, And I do not turn His statutes from me.
祂的一切法令常在我的眼前，祂的任何誡命我總沒有棄損；
23 And I am perfect with Him, And I keep myself from my iniquity.
我在祂前常保持成全，我自知防範各種罪愆。
24 And YHWH returns to me, According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, Before His eyes.
因此，上主我在祂眼前的正道，並我隻手的清白給了我賞報。
25 With the kind You show Yourself kind, With a perfect man You show Yourself perfect.
仁慈的人，你待他仁慈；正直的人，你待他正直；
26 With the pure You show Yourself pure, And with the perverse You show Yourself a wrestler,
純潔的人，你待他純潔；乖戾的人，你待他乖戾。
27 For You save a poor people, And cause the eyes of the high to fall.
卑微的人，你必要救起；傲慢的人，你必要輕視。
28 For You light my lamp, My God YHWH enlightens my darkness.
上主，是你使我的燈籠放光，我主，是你把我的黑暗照亮。
29 For by You I run [against] a troop! And by my God I leap a wall.
仗著你的助祐，我衝上了戰場；靠著我的天主，我跳過了城牆。
30 God—perfect [is] His way, The saying of YHWH is tried, He [is] a shield to all those trusting in Him.
天主的道路是完善的；上主的言語是精鍊的；凡是投奔祂的人，祂必作他的後盾。
31 For who [is] God besides YHWH? And who [is] a rock except our God?
除了上主以外，還有誰是天主？我們天主以外，還有誰是磐石？
32 God—who is girding me [with] strength, And He makes my way perfect.
是天主使我腰纏英武，使我的道路平坦無阻；
33 Making my feet like does, And on my high places causes me to stand.
使我的雙腳敏捷與鹿蹄相同，使我能穩立於高山的危峰；
34 Teaching my hands for battle, And a bow of bronze was brought down by my arms.
是祂教導我的手上陣進攻，使我伸出臂膊開張了銅弓。
35 And You give to me the shield of Your salvation, And Your right hand supports me, And Your lowliness makes me great.
你把救生的盾賜給了我，你的右手不斷扶持了我，使我日漸強大因你愛我。
36 You enlarge my step under me, And my ankles have not slipped.
你為我的腳步拓展了道路，我的雙腳總沒有顛簸躊躇。
37 I pursue my enemies, and overtake them, And do not turn back until they are consumed.
我追擊我的仇敵，並且把他們捕捉，決不返回，直到將他們除盡滅絕。
38 I strike them, and they are not able to rise, They fall under my feet,
我將他們打得一敗塗地，叫他們在我的腳下倒斃。
39 And You gird me [with] strength for battle, You cause my withstanders to bow under me.
你使我腰纏英武奮勇作戰，叫敵對我的人都向我就範；
40 As for my enemies—You have given to me the neck, As for those hating me—I cut them off.
使我的敵人在我前轉背逃竄，使我把一切仇恨我的人驅散。
41 They cry, and there is no savior, On YHWH, and He does not answer them.
他們吶喊，卻沒有人救援，呼號上主，也得不到矜憐。
42 And I beat them as dust before wind, I empty them out as mire of the streets.
我粉碎他們像風吹的灰塵，我踐踏他們似道上的糞土。
43 You deliver me From the strivings of the people, You place me for a head of nations, A people I have not known serve me.
你救我脫離了判亂的人民，又封立了我為列國的元勳，我不認識的民族，也都來給我服務。
44 At the hearing of the ear they listen to me, Sons of a stranger feign obedience to me,
外邦的子民向我諂媚奉承，一聽到是我，即刻向我服膺。
45 Sons of a stranger fade away, And are slain out of their close places.
外方的子民驚惶失色，戰戰兢兢走出了堡壘。
46 YHWH lives—and blessed [is] my rock, And exalted is the God of my salvation.
上主萬歲! 願我的磐石備受讚頌！救我的天主備受尊崇！
47 God—who is giving vengeance to me, And He subdues peoples under me,
天主，是你為我伸冤復仇，求你使萬民都向我屈服；
48 My deliverer from my enemies, You raise me above my withstanders, Deliver me from a man of violence.
是你拯救我脫離我的仇敵，從凌駕我者的拳下，把我提起，救我免於向我施暴人的手裏。
49 Therefore I confess You among nations, O YHWH, And I sing praise to Your Name,
上主，為此，我要在異民中稱謝你，我要對你的聖名讚不已：
50 Magnifying the salvation of His king, And doing kindness to His anointed, To David, and to his seed—for all time!
因為是你使你的君王大獲勝利，對你的受傅者：達味和他的後裔，廣施仁愛慈惠，至於無窮之世。
