Psalms 149

1 Praise YAH! Sing to YHWH a new song, His praise in an assembly of saints.

Monkamfo Awurade. Monto dwom foforo mma Awurade, monkamfo no wɔ ahotefo asafo mu.

2 Israel rejoices in his Maker, Sons of Zion rejoice in their king.

Ma Israel ani nnye ne Yɛfo mu. Ma Sion mma ani nnye wɔn Hene mu.

3 They praise His Name in a dance, Sing praise to Him with timbrel and harp.

Ma wɔmfa asaw nkamfo ne din na wɔmfa sanku ne akasaa nto dwom mma no.

4 For YHWH is pleased with His people, He beautifies the humble with salvation.

Na Awurade ani sɔ ne nkurɔfo; ɔde nkwagye kyɛw hyɛ ahobrɛasefo.

5 Saints exult in glory, They sing aloud on their beds.

Momma ahotefo nni ahurusi wɔ anuonyam yi mu; na wɔnto ahosɛpɛw dwom wɔ wɔn mpa so.

6 The exaltation of God [is] in their throat, And a two-edged sword in their hand.

Onyankopɔn nkamfo nhyɛ wɔn anom, na ɛnyɛ afoa anofanu wɔ wɔn nsam,

7 To do vengeance among nations, Punishments among the peoples.

sɛ wɔmfa ntɔ were wɔ amanaman no so ne asotwe wɔ nnipa no so,

8 To bind their kings with chains, And their honored ones with chains of iron,

sɛ wɔmfa nyɛ nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn nkyekyere wɔn ahemfo, ne dade mpokyerɛ ngu wɔn atitiriw,

9 To do among them the judgment written, It [is] an honor for all his saints. Praise YAH!

sɛ wɔmfa mmu atɛn, sɛnea wɔakyerɛw atia wɔn no. Eyi ne nʼahotewfo nyinaa anuonyam. Monkamfo Awurade.
