< Psalms 148 >

1 Praise YAH! Praise YHWH from the heavens, Praise Him in high places.
Alleluia. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise him on the heights.
2 Praise Him, all His messengers, Praise Him, all His hosts.
Praise him, all his Angels. Praise him, all his hosts.
3 Praise Him, sun and moon, Praise Him, all stars of light.
Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all stars and light.
4 Praise Him, heavens of heavens, And you waters that are above the heavens.
Praise him, heavens of the heavens. And let all the waters that are above the heavens
5 They praise the Name of YHWH, For He commanded, and they were created.
praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.
6 And He establishes them forever and for all time, He gave a statute, and they do not pass over.
He has stationed them in eternity, and for age after age. He has established a precept, and it will not pass away.
7 Praise YHWH from the earth, Dragons and all deeps,
Praise the Lord from the earth: you dragons and all deep places,
8 Fire and hail, snow and vapor, Whirlwind doing His word;
fire, hail, snow, ice, windstorms, which do his word,
9 The mountains and all heights, Fruit tree, and all cedars,
mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,
10 The wild beast, and all livestock, Creeping thing, and winged bird,
wild beasts and all cattle, serpents and feathered flying things,
11 Kings of earth, and all peoples, Chiefs, and all judges of earth,
kings of the earth and all peoples, leaders and all judges of the earth,
12 Young men, and also maidens, Aged men, with youths,
young men and virgins. Let the older men with the younger men, praise the name of the Lord.
13 They praise the Name of YHWH, For His Name alone has been set on high, His splendor [is] above earth and heavens.
For his name alone is exalted.
14 And He exalts the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints, Of the sons of Israel, A people near Him. Praise YAH!
Confession of him is beyond heaven and earth, and he has exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his holy ones, to the sons of Israel, to a people close to him. Alleluia.
