Psalms 147
1 Praise YAH! For [it is] good to praise our God, For pleasant—lovely [is] praise.
Alaba al Señor; porque es bueno hacer melodía a nuestro Dios; la alabanza es agradable y hermosa.
2 YHWH [is] building Jerusalem, He gathers the driven away of Israel.
El Señor edifica a Jerusalén; hace que todos los desterrados de Israel se unan.
3 Who is giving healing to the broken of heart, And is binding up their griefs.
Él hace que el corazón quebrantado sea bueno, y les echa aceite sobre sus heridas.
4 Appointing the number of the stars, He gives names to all of them.
Él ve el número de las estrellas; él les da todos sus nombres.
5 Our Lord [is] great, and abundant in power, There is no narration of His understanding.
Grande es nuestro Señor, y grande su poder; no hay límite para su sabiduría.
6 YHWH is causing the meek to stand, Making the wicked low to the earth.
El Señor da ayuda a los pobres en espíritu; pero él envía a los pecadores avergonzados.
7 Answer to YHWH with thanksgiving, Sing to our God with a harp.
Haz canciones de alabanza al Señor; hacer melodía a nuestro Dios con instrumentos de música.
8 Who is covering the heavens with clouds, Who is preparing rain for the earth, Who is causing grass to spring up [on] mountains,
Por su mano el cielo está cubierto de nubes y la lluvia se almacena para la tierra; él hace que la hierba sea alta en las montañas.
9 Giving to the beast its food, To the young of the ravens that call.
Él da alimento a toda bestia, y a los cuervos jóvenes en respuesta a su clamor.
10 He does not delight in the might of the horse, He is not pleased in the legs of a man.
Él no tiene deleite en la fuerza de un caballo; él no disfruta de las piernas de un hombre.
11 YHWH is pleased with those fearing Him, With those waiting for His kindness.
El Señor se complace en sus adoradores, y en aquellos cuya esperanza está en su misericordia.
12 Glorify, O Jerusalem, YHWH, Praise your God, O Zion.
Alaben al Señor, oh Jerusalén; alaben a su Dios, oh Sión.
13 For He strengthened the bars of your gates, He has blessed your sons in your midst.
Hizo fuertes las ataduras de hierro de tus puertas; él ha enviado bendiciones a tus hijos dentro de tus paredes.
14 Who is making your border peace, He satisfies you [with] the fat of wheat.
Él da paz en toda tu tierra, haciendo tus tiendas llenas de grano gordo.
15 Who is sending forth His saying [on] earth, His word runs very speedily.
Él envía sus órdenes a la tierra; su palabra sale rápidamente.
16 Who is giving snow like wool, He scatters hoarfrost as ashes.
Él da la nieve como la lana; él envía gotas de hielo como el polvo.
17 Casting forth His ice like morsels, Who stands before His cold?
Hace caer el hielo como gotas de lluvia: el agua se endurece por el frío.
18 He sends forth His word and melts them, He causes His wind to blow—the waters flow.
Al pronunciar su palabra, el hielo se convierte en agua; cuando él envía su viento, hay un flujo de aguas.
19 Declaring His words to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.
Él le aclara su palabra a Jacob, enseñando a Israel sus leyes y sus decisiones.
20 He has not done so to any nation, As for judgments, they have not known them. Praise YAH!
No hizo estas cosas por ninguna otra nación; y en cuanto a sus leyes, no las conocen. Dejen que el Señor sea alabado.
