Psalms 147
1 Praise YAH! For [it is] good to praise our God, For pleasant—lovely [is] praise.
ALABAD á JAH, porque es bueno cantar salmos á nuestro Dios; porque suave y hermosa es la alabanza.
2 YHWH [is] building Jerusalem, He gathers the driven away of Israel.
Jehová edifica á Jerusalem; á los echados de Israel recogerá.
3 Who is giving healing to the broken of heart, And is binding up their griefs.
El sana á los quebrantados de corazón, y liga sus heridas.
4 Appointing the number of the stars, He gives names to all of them.
El cuenta el número de las estrellas; á todas ellas llama por sus nombres.
5 Our Lord [is] great, and abundant in power, There is no narration of His understanding.
Grande es el Señor nuestro, y de mucha potencia; y de su entendimiento no hay número.
6 YHWH is causing the meek to stand, Making the wicked low to the earth.
Jehová ensalza á los humildes; humilla los impíos hasta la tierra.
7 Answer to YHWH with thanksgiving, Sing to our God with a harp.
Cantad á Jehová con alabanza, cantad con arpa á nuestro Dios.
8 Who is covering the heavens with clouds, Who is preparing rain for the earth, Who is causing grass to spring up [on] mountains,
El [es] el que cubre los cielos de nubes, el que prepara la lluvia para la tierra, el que hace á los montes producir hierba.
9 Giving to the beast its food, To the young of the ravens that call.
El da á la bestia su mantenimiento, [y] á los hijos de los cuervos que claman.
10 He does not delight in the might of the horse, He is not pleased in the legs of a man.
No toma contentamiento en la fortaleza del caballo, ni se complace en las piernas del hombre.
11 YHWH is pleased with those fearing Him, With those waiting for His kindness.
Complácese Jehová en los que le temen, y en los que esperan en su misericordia.
12 Glorify, O Jerusalem, YHWH, Praise your God, O Zion.
Alaba á Jehová, Jerusalem; alaba á tu Dios, Sión.
13 For He strengthened the bars of your gates, He has blessed your sons in your midst.
Porque fortificó los cerrojos de tus puertas; bendijo á tus hijos dentro de ti.
14 Who is making your border peace, He satisfies you [with] the fat of wheat.
El pone en tu término la paz; te hará saciar de grosura de trigo.
15 Who is sending forth His saying [on] earth, His word runs very speedily.
El envía su palabra á la tierra; muy presto corre su palabra.
16 Who is giving snow like wool, He scatters hoarfrost as ashes.
El da la nieve como lana, derrama la escarcha como ceniza.
17 Casting forth His ice like morsels, Who stands before His cold?
El echa su hielo como pedazos: delante de su frío ¿quién estará?
18 He sends forth His word and melts them, He causes His wind to blow—the waters flow.
Enviará su palabra, y los derretirá: soplará su viento, y fluirán las aguas.
19 Declaring His words to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.
El denuncia sus palabras á Jacob, sus estatutos y sus juicios á Israel.
20 He has not done so to any nation, As for judgments, they have not known them. Praise YAH!
No ha hecho esto con toda gente; y no conocieron sus juicios. Aleluya.
