Psalms 147
1 Praise YAH! For [it is] good to praise our God, For pleasant—lovely [is] praise.
Hvalite Gospoda, kajti dobro je peti hvalnice našemu Bogu, kajti to je prijetno in hvala je ljubka.
2 YHWH [is] building Jerusalem, He gathers the driven away of Israel.
Gospod je zgradil Jeruzalem; skupaj zbira Izraelove pregnance.
3 Who is giving healing to the broken of heart, And is binding up their griefs.
Ozdravlja potrte v srcu in povezuje njihove rane.
4 Appointing the number of the stars, He gives names to all of them.
Šteje število zvezd, vse jih kliče po njihovih imenih.
5 Our Lord [is] great, and abundant in power, There is no narration of His understanding.
Velik je naš Gospod in zelo močan, njegovo razumevanje je neskončno.
6 YHWH is causing the meek to stand, Making the wicked low to the earth.
Gospod dviguje krotke; zlobne podira k tlom.
7 Answer to YHWH with thanksgiving, Sing to our God with a harp.
Pojte Gospodu z zahvaljevanjem, našemu Bogu pojte hvalo na harfo,
8 Who is covering the heavens with clouds, Who is preparing rain for the earth, Who is causing grass to spring up [on] mountains,
ki nebo pokriva z oblaki, ki za zemljo pripravlja dež, ki daje travi, da raste po gorah.
9 Giving to the beast its food, To the young of the ravens that call.
On daje živali njeno hrano in mladim krokarjem, ki kličejo.
10 He does not delight in the might of the horse, He is not pleased in the legs of a man.
Ne razveseljuje se v moči konja. Ne veseli se človeških nog.
11 YHWH is pleased with those fearing Him, With those waiting for His kindness.
Gospod se veseli tistih, ki se ga bojijo, tistih, ki upajo v njegovo usmiljenje.
12 Glorify, O Jerusalem, YHWH, Praise your God, O Zion.
Hvali Gospoda, oh Jeruzalem, hvali svojega Boga, oh Sion.
13 For He strengthened the bars of your gates, He has blessed your sons in your midst.
Kajti utrjuje zapahe tvojih velikih vrat, tvoje otroke je blagoslovil znotraj tebe.
14 Who is making your border peace, He satisfies you [with] the fat of wheat.
Na tvojih mejah daje mir in te nasičuje z najodličnejšo pšenico.
15 Who is sending forth His saying [on] earth, His word runs very speedily.
Svojo zapoved pošilja na zemljo; njegova beseda teče zelo naglo.
16 Who is giving snow like wool, He scatters hoarfrost as ashes.
Sneg daje kakor volno, slano razsiplje kakor pepel.
17 Casting forth His ice like morsels, Who stands before His cold?
Svoj led meče kakor koščke; kdo lahko obstane pred njegovim mrazom?
18 He sends forth His word and melts them, He causes His wind to blow—the waters flow.
Razpošilja svojo besedo in jih topi; svojemu vetru povzroča, da piha in vodam, [da] tečejo.
19 Declaring His words to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.
Svojo besedo kaže Jakobu, svoje zakone in svoje sodbe Izraelu.
20 He has not done so to any nation, As for judgments, they have not known them. Praise YAH!
Z nobenim narodom ni tako postopal in glede njegovih sodb, jih oni niso spoznali. Hvalite Gospoda.
