Psalms 147
1 Praise YAH! For [it is] good to praise our God, For pleasant—lovely [is] praise.
Chwalcie Pana; albowiem dobra rzecz jest, śpiewać Bogu naszemu; albowiem to wdzięczna i przystojna jest chwała.
2 YHWH [is] building Jerusalem, He gathers the driven away of Israel.
Pan Jeruzalem buduje, a rozproszonego Izraela zgromadza.
3 Who is giving healing to the broken of heart, And is binding up their griefs.
Który uzdrawia skruszonych na sercu, a zawiązuje boleści ich.
4 Appointing the number of the stars, He gives names to all of them.
Który rachuje liczbę gwiazd, a każdą z nich imieniem jej nazywa.
5 Our Lord [is] great, and abundant in power, There is no narration of His understanding.
Wielki jest Pan nasz, i wielki w mocy; rozumienia jego niemasz liczby.
6 YHWH is causing the meek to stand, Making the wicked low to the earth.
Pan pokornych podnosi; ale niepobożnych aż ku ziemi uniża.
7 Answer to YHWH with thanksgiving, Sing to our God with a harp.
Śpiewajcież Panu z chwałą; śpiewajcie Bogu naszemu na harfie;
8 Who is covering the heavens with clouds, Who is preparing rain for the earth, Who is causing grass to spring up [on] mountains,
Który okrywa niebiosa obłokami, a deszcz ziemi gotuje: który czyni, że rośnie trawa po górach;
9 Giving to the beast its food, To the young of the ravens that call.
Który daje bydłu pokarm ich, i kruczętom młodym, które wołają do niego.
10 He does not delight in the might of the horse, He is not pleased in the legs of a man.
Nie kocha się w mocy końskiej, ani się kocha w goleniach męskich.
11 YHWH is pleased with those fearing Him, With those waiting for His kindness.
Kocha się Pan w tych, którzy się go boją, a którzy ufają w miłosierdziu jego.
12 Glorify, O Jerusalem, YHWH, Praise your God, O Zion.
Chwalże, Jeruzalemie! Pana; chwalże, Syonie! Boga twego.
13 For He strengthened the bars of your gates, He has blessed your sons in your midst.
Albowiem on umacnia zawory bram twoich, a błogosławi synów twoich w pośrodku ciebie.
14 Who is making your border peace, He satisfies you [with] the fat of wheat.
On czyni pokój w granicach twoich, a najwyborniejszą pszenicą nasyca cię.
15 Who is sending forth His saying [on] earth, His word runs very speedily.
On wysyła słowo swe na ziemię; bardzo prędko bieży wyrok jego.
16 Who is giving snow like wool, He scatters hoarfrost as ashes.
On daje śnieg jako wełnę, szron jako popiół rozsypuje.
17 Casting forth His ice like morsels, Who stands before His cold?
Rzuca lód swój jako bryły; przed zimnem jego któż się ostoi?
18 He sends forth His word and melts them, He causes His wind to blow—the waters flow.
Posyła słowo swoje, i roztapia je; powienie wiatrem swym, a rozlewają wody.
19 Declaring His words to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.
Oznajmuje słowo swe Jakóbowi, ustawy swe i sądy swe Izraelowi.
20 He has not done so to any nation, As for judgments, they have not known them. Praise YAH!
Nie uczynił tak żadnemu narodowi; przetoż nie poznali sądów jego. Halleluja.
