Psalms 146

1 Praise YAH! Praise, O my soul, YHWH.

Goocai Jehova. Wee ngoro yakwa-rĩ, gooca Jehova.

2 I praise YHWH during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.

Ndĩgoocaga Jehova hĩndĩ ĩrĩa yothe ngũtũũra muoyo; ndĩrĩinaga, ngoocage Ngai wakwa rĩrĩa rĩothe ngũtũũra muoyo.

3 Do not trust in princes—in a son of man, For he has no deliverance.

Ndũkanaige mwĩhoko waku harĩ anene, kana harĩ andũ, arĩa matangĩhota kũhonokania.

4 His spirit goes forth, he returns to his earth, In that day his thoughts have perished.

Rĩrĩa roho wao wameherera, macookaga o tĩĩri-inĩ; mũthenya o ro ũcio mĩbango yao ĩtuĩkaga ya tũhũ.

5 O the blessedness of him Who has the God of Jacob for his help, His hope [is] on his God YHWH,

Kũrathimwo-rĩ, nĩ mũndũ ũrĩa ũteithio wake uumaga kũrĩ Mũrungu wa Jakubu, ũrĩa mwĩhoko wake ũrĩ harĩ Jehova Ngai wake,

6 Making the heavens and earth, The sea and all that [is] in them, Who is keeping truth for all time,

Mũũmbi wa igũrũ na thĩ, na iria, na kĩrĩa gĩothe gĩtũũraga thĩinĩ wacio: ũcio nĩwe Jehova, ũrĩa ũtũũraga arĩ mwĩhokeku nginya tene.

7 Doing judgment for the oppressed, Giving bread to the hungry.

Nĩarũgamagĩrĩra kĩhooto kĩa arĩa ahatĩrĩrie, na akahe arĩa ahũtu irio. Jehova nĩwe wohoraga arĩa mohetwo,

8 YHWH is loosing the prisoners, YHWH is opening (the eyes of) the blind, YHWH is raising the bowed down, YHWH is loving the righteous,

Jehova nĩahingũraga maitho ma arĩa atumumu, Jehova nĩatiiraga arĩa mainamĩte, Jehova nĩendete andũ arĩa athingu.

9 YHWH is preserving the strangers, He causes the fatherless and widow to stand, And He turns the way of the wicked upside down.

Jehova nĩamenyagĩrĩra andũ a kũngĩ, na agatũũria ciana cia ngoriai o na mũtumia wa ndigwa, no njĩra cia andũ arĩa aaganu nĩacirigiicaga.

10 YHWH reigns for all time, Your God, O Zion, to generation and generation, Praise YAH!
