Psalms 146

1 Praise YAH! Praise, O my soul, YHWH.

Tamandani Yehova. Tamanda Yehova, iwe moyo wanga.

2 I praise YHWH during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.

Ndidzatamanda Yehova ndi moyo wanga wonse; ndidzayimba nyimbo zamatamando kwa Mulungu wanga nthawi yonse ya moyo wanga.

3 Do not trust in princes—in a son of man, For he has no deliverance.

Musamadalire mafumu, anthu osakhalitsa, amene sangathe kupulumutsa.

4 His spirit goes forth, he returns to his earth, In that day his thoughts have perished.

Pamene mizimu yawo yachoka, iwo amabwerera ku dothi; zimene ankafuna kuchita zimatha tsiku lomwelo.

5 O the blessedness of him Who has the God of Jacob for his help, His hope [is] on his God YHWH,

Wodala ndi amene thandizo lake ndi Mulungu wa Yakobo.

6 Making the heavens and earth, The sea and all that [is] in them, Who is keeping truth for all time,

Wolenga kumwamba ndi dziko lapansi, nyanja ndi zonse zili mʼmenemo; Yehova, amene ndi wokhulupirika kwamuyaya.

7 Doing judgment for the oppressed, Giving bread to the hungry.

Iye amachitira chilungamo anthu oponderezedwa ndipo amapereka chakudya kwa anthu anjala. Yehova amamasula amʼndende,

8 YHWH is loosing the prisoners, YHWH is opening (the eyes of) the blind, YHWH is raising the bowed down, YHWH is loving the righteous,

Yehova amatsekula maso anthu osaona, Yehova amadzutsa onse amene awerama pansi, Yehova amakonda anthu olungama.

9 YHWH is preserving the strangers, He causes the fatherless and widow to stand, And He turns the way of the wicked upside down.

Yehova amasamalira alendo ndipo amathandiza ana ndi akazi amasiye, koma amasokoneza njira za anthu oyipa.

10 YHWH reigns for all time, Your God, O Zion, to generation and generation, Praise YAH!

Yehova ndiye Mfumu mpaka muyaya, Mulungu wako iwe Ziyoni, pa mibado yonse. Tamandani Yehova.
