< Psalms 144 >
1 BY DAVID. Blessed [is] YHWH my Rock, Who is teaching My hands for war, My fingers for battle.
Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Atenderezebwe Mukama, olwazi lwange, atendeka emikono gyange okulwana, era ateekerateekera engalo zange olutalo.
2 My kind one, and my bulwark, My tower, and my deliverer, My shield, and in whom I have trusted, Who is subduing my people under me!
Mukama anjagala ye Katonda wange era kye kiddukiro kyange, ge maanyi gange amangi era ye mulokozi wange. Ye ngabo yange mwe neekweka. Awangula amawanga n’agassa wansi w’ebigere byange.
3 YHWH, what [is] man that You know him? The son of man, that You esteem him?
Ayi Mukama, omuntu kye ki ggwe okumufaako, oba omwana w’omuntu, ggwe okumulowoozaako?
4 Man has been like a breath, His days [are] as a shadow passing by.
Omuntu ali nga mukka. Ennaku ze ziri ng’ekisiikirize ekiyita obuyisi.
5 YHWH, incline Your heavens and come down, Strike against mountains, and they smoke.
Yawula mu ggulu lyo, Ayi Mukama, okke! Kwata ku nsozi zinyooke omukka!
6 Send forth lightning, and scatter them, Send forth Your arrows, and trouble them,
Myansa abalabe basaasaane, era lasa obusaale bwo obazikirize.
7 Send forth Your hand from on high, Free me, and deliver me from many waters, From the hand of sons of a stranger,
Ogolole omukono gwo ng’osinziira waggulu ennyo, omponye, onzigye mu mazzi amangi, era onzigye mu mikono gya bannamawanga;
8 Because their mouth has spoken vanity, And their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood.
ab’emimwa egyogera eby’obulimba, abalayira nti kya mazima, so nga bulimba bwereere.
9 O God, I sing to You a new song, I sing praise to You on a stringed instrument of ten strings.
Ayi Mukama, nnaakuyimbiranga oluyimba oluggya; nnaakukubiranga ennanga ey’enkoba ekkumi,
10 Who is giving deliverance to kings, Who is freeing His servant David from the sword of evil.
ggwe awa bakabaka obuwanguzi; amponya, nze omuddu wo Dawudi, ekitala ekyogi.
11 Free me, and deliver me From the hand of sons of a stranger, Because their mouth has spoken vanity, And their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood,
Ndokola, omponye onzigye mu mukono gwa bannamawanga bano ab’emimwa egyogera eby’obulimba, era omukono gwabwe ogwa ddyo gwa bulimba.
12 Because our sons [are] as plants, Becoming great in their youth, Our daughters as hewn stones, Polished—the likeness of a palace,
Batabani baffe mu buvubuka bwabwe, Ayi Mukama, babeere ng’ebisimbe ebikulidde ddala obulungi, ne bawala baffe babe ng’empagi ennungi ez’oku nsonda okuzimbirwa ennyumba ya kabaka mu lubiri.
13 Our granaries [are] full, bringing out from kind to kind, Our flocks are bringing forth thousands, Ten thousands in our out-places,
Amawanika gaffe gajjule ebibala ebya buli ngeri. Endiga zaffe zizaale enkumi n’obukumi zijjule amalundiro gaffe.
14 Our oxen are carrying, there is no breach, And there is no outgoing, And there is no crying in our broad places.
Ente zaffe ziwalule ebizito. Ebisenge by’ekibuga bireme kumenyebwa. Waleme kubaawo kukaaba n’okwaziirana kwonna mu nguudo ez’omu bibuga byaffe.
15 O the blessedness of the people that is thus, O the blessedness of the people whose God [is] YHWH!
Abantu abaweereddwa emikisa egyo beesiimye! Balina omukisa abantu abo abalina Katonda waabwe nga ye Mukama.
