Psalms 14

1 TO THE OVERSEER. BY DAVID. A fool has said in his heart, “There is no God”; They have done corruptly, They have done abominable actions, There is not a doer of good.

౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం, దావీదు కీర్తన. దేవుడు లేడు, అని బుద్ధిలేని వాడు తన మనసులో అనుకుంటాడు. వాళ్ళు చెడిపోయిన వాళ్ళు, అసహ్యమైన పాపం చేసిన వాళ్ళు. మంచి చేసేవాడు ఎవడూ లేడు.

2 YHWH has looked from the heavens on the sons of men, To see if there is a wise one—seeking God.

౨వివేకం కలిగి దేవుణ్ణి వెదికే వాళ్ళు ఎవరైనా ఉన్నారేమో అని యెహోవా ఆకాశం నుంచి మనుషులను చూస్తున్నాడు.

3 The whole have turned aside, Together they have been filthy: There is not a doer of good, not even one.

౩ప్రతిఒక్కడూ దారి తొలగిపోయాడు. వారంతా రోతగా ఉన్నారు. మంచి చేసేవాడు ఒక్కడూ లేడు, ఒక్కడైనా లేడు.

4 Have all working iniquity not known? Those consuming my people have eaten bread, They have not called YHWH.

౪యెహోవాకు ప్రార్థన చెయ్యకుండా ఆహారం మింగినట్టు నా ప్రజలను మింగుతూ పాపం చేసేవాళ్ళందరికీ తెలివి లేదా?

5 They have feared a fear there, For God [is] in the generation of the righteous.

౫వాళ్ళు భయంతో వణికిపోతారు. ఎందుకంటే దేవుడు న్యాయవంతుల సభతో ఉన్నాడు.

6 You cause the counsel of the poor to stink, Because YHWH [is] his refuge.

౬యెహోవా అతనికి ఆశ్రయంగా ఉన్నా, ఆ పేదవాణ్ణి నువ్వు అవమానించాలని చూస్తున్నావు.

7 “Who gives the salvation of Israel from Zion?” When YHWH turns back [To] a captivity of His people, Jacob rejoices—Israel is glad!

౭సీయోనులోనుంచి ఇశ్రాయేలుకు రక్షణ కలుగు గాక! యెహోవా చెరలో ఉన్న తన ప్రజలను రప్పించినప్పుడు యాకోబులో ఆనందం, ఇశ్రాయేలులో సంతోషం కలుగుతుంది.
