Psalms 138

1 BY DAVID. I confess You with all my heart, I praise You before the gods.

Salimo la Davide. Ndidzakuyamikani Yehova ndi mtima wanga wonse; ndidzayimba nyimbo zokutamandani pamaso pa “milungu.”

2 I bow myself toward Your holy temple, And I confess Your Name, For Your kindness, and for Your truth, For You have made Your saying great above all Your Name.

Ndidzagwada kuyangʼana ku Nyumba yanu yoyera ndipo ndidzayamika dzina lanu chifukwa cha chikondi chanu ndi kukhulupirika kwanu, pakuti Inu mwakuza dzina lanu ndi mawu anu kupambana zinthu zonse.

3 In the day I called, when You answer me, You strengthen me in my soul [with] strength.

Pamene ndinayitana, munandiyankha; munandisandutsa wamphamvu ndi wolimba mtima.

4 O YHWH, all kings of earth confess You, When they have heard the sayings of Your mouth.

Mafumu onse a dziko lapansi akuyamikeni Yehova, pamene amva mawu a pakamwa panu.

5 And they sing in the ways of YHWH, For the glory of YHWH [is] great.

Iwo ayimbe za njira za Yehova, pakuti ulemerero wa Yehova ndi waukulu.

6 For YHWH [is] high, and He sees the lowly, And He knows the haughty from afar.

Ngakhale kuti Yehova ngokwezeka, amasamalira odzichepetsa, koma anthu onyada amawadziwira chapatali.

7 If I walk in the midst of distress You quicken me, You send forth Your hand against the anger of my enemies, And Your right hand saves me.

Ngakhale ndiyende pakati pa masautso, mumasunga moyo wanga; mumatambasula dzanja lanu kutsutsana ndi mkwiyo wa adani anga, mumandipulumutsa ndi dzanja lanu lamanja.

8 YHWH perfects for me, O YHWH, Your kindness [is] for all time, Do not let the works of Your hands fall!

Yehova adzakwaniritsa cholinga chake pa ine; chikondi chanu chosasinthika Yehova, ndi chosatha musasiye ntchito ya manja anu.
