Psalms 136
1 Give thanks to YHWH, For [He is] good, for His kindness [is] for all time.
Tacker Herranom, ty han är god; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Tacker alla gudars Gudi; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Tacker alla herrars Herra; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
4 To Him doing great wonders by Himself alone, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Den stor under gör allena; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
5 To Him making the heavens by understanding, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Den himlarna skickeliga gjort hafver; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
6 To Him spreading the earth over the waters, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Den jordena på vatten utsträckt hafver; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
7 To Him making great lights, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Den stor ljus gjort hafver; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
8 The sun to rule by day, For His kindness [is] for all time.

9 The moon and stars to rule by night, For His kindness [is] for all time.

10 To Him striking Egypt in their firstborn, For His kindness [is] for all time.

11 And bringing forth Israel from their midst, For His kindness [is] for all time.

12 By a strong hand and an outstretched-arm, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Med väldiga hand och uträcktom arm; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
13 To Him cutting the Sea of Suph into parts, For His kindness [is] for all time,
Den röda hafvet skifte i två delar; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
14 And caused Israel to pass through its midst, For His kindness [is] for all time,
Och lät Israel derigenom gå; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
15 And shook out Pharaoh and his force in the Sea of Suph, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Den Pharao och hans här i röda hafvet störte; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
16 To Him leading His people in a wilderness, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Den sitt folk förde genom öknena; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
17 To Him striking great kings, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Den stora Konungar slog; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga;
18 Indeed, He slays majestic kings, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Och drap mägtiga Konungar; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga:
19 Even Sihon king of the Amorite, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Sihon, de Amoreers Konung; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga:
20 And Og king of Bashan, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Och Og, Konungen i Basan; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
21 And He gave their land for inheritance, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Och gaf deras land till arfs; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
22 An inheritance to Israel His servant, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Till arfs sinom tjenare Israel; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
23 Who has remembered us in our lowliness, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Ty han tänkte på oss, då vi undertryckte voro; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
24 And He delivers us from our adversaries, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Och förlossade oss ifrå våra fiendar; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
25 Giving food to all flesh, For His kindness [is] for all time.
Den allo kötte mat gifver; ty hans godhet varar evinnerliga.
26 Give thanks to the God of the heavens, For His kindness [is] for all time!
