< Psalms 135 >

1 Praise YAH! Praise the Name of YHWH, Praise, you servants of YHWH,
Alleluja! Slavējiet Tā Kunga vārdu, slavējiet jūs, Tā Kunga kalpi,
2 Who are standing in the house of YHWH, In the courts of the house of our God.
Kas stāvat Tā Kunga namā, mūsu Dieva nama pagalmos,
3 Praise YAH! For YHWH [is] good, Sing praise to His Name, for [it is] pleasant.
4 For YAH has chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel for His peculiar treasure.
Jo Tas Kungs Jēkabu Sev izredzējis, Israēli par Savu īpašumu.
5 For I have known that YHWH [is] great, Indeed, our Lord [is] above all gods.
6 All that YHWH pleased He has done, In the heavens and in earth, In the seas and all deep places,
Visu, ko Tas Kungs grib, to Viņš dara, debesīs un virs zemes, jūrā un visos dziļumos.
7 Causing vapors to ascend from the end of the earth, He has made lightnings for the rain, Bringing forth wind from His treasures.
Viņš uzved miglu no zemes galiem, dod zibeņus pie lietus, izved vēju no viņa kambariem.
8 Who struck the firstborn of Egypt, From man to beast.
Viņš nokāva Ēģiptes pirmdzimušos, gan cilvēkus gan lopus.
9 He sent tokens and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, On Pharaoh and on all his servants.
Viņš sūtīja zīmes un brīnumus tavā vidū, Ēģiptes zemē, pret Faraonu un visiem viņa kalpiem.
10 Who struck many nations, and slew strong kings,
Viņš kāva daudz tautas un nokāva varenus ķēniņus,
11 Even Sihon king of the Amorite, And Og king of Bashan, And all kingdoms of Canaan.
Sihonu, Āmoriešu ķēniņu, un Ogu, Basanas ķēniņu, un visas Kanaāna valstis;
12 And He gave their land an inheritance, An inheritance to His people Israel,
Un deva viņu zemi par mantību, par mantību Saviem Israēla ļaudīm;
13 O YHWH, Your Name [is] for all time, O YHWH, Your memorial from generation to generation.
Kungs, Tavs vārds paliek mūžīgi, Kungs, Tava piemiņa paliek līdz radu radiem.
14 For YHWH judges His people, And comforts Himself for His servants.
15 The idols of the nations [are] silver and gold, Work of the hands of man.
16 They have a mouth, and they do not speak, They have eyes, and they do not see,
17 They have ears, and they do not give ear, Nose—there is no breath in their mouth!
18 Their makers are like them, Everyone who is trusting in them.
19 O house of Israel, bless YHWH, O house of Aaron, bless YHWH,
Jūs, Israēla nams, teiciet To Kungu; jūs, Ārona nams, teiciet To Kungu.
20 O house of Levi, bless YHWH, Those fearing YHWH, bless YHWH.
Jūs Levja nams, teiciet To Kungu; jūs, kas To Kungu bīstaties, teiciet To Kungu.
21 Blessed [is] YHWH from Zion, Inhabiting Jerusalem—praise YAH!
Alleluja!
