< Psalms 129 >
1 A SONG OF THE ASCENTS. Often they distressed me from my youth, Pray, let Israel say:
ISRAEL en inda: Re katoutou ia melel sang ni ai tikitik lel met pak toto.
2 Often they distressed me from my youth, Yet they have not prevailed over me.
Pan pak toto re katoutou ia melel sang ni ai tikitik lel met; ari so, re sota kak kaloe ia di.
3 Plowers have plowed over my back, They have made their furrows long.
Men sapasap weirada pon tinsau ai, wiadar warawar reirei.
4 YHWH [is] righteous, He has cut apart cords of the wicked.
A Ieowa me pung, a kotin lepuk pasanger sal en me doo sang Kot akan.
5 All hating Zion [are] confounded and turn backward.
Karos me kin tataki Sion, en sarodi o tangwei!
6 They are as grass of the roofs, That withers before it was drawn out,
Ren rasong rä pon os en im o, me kin mong pena mon a pan ususda!
7 That has not filled the hand of a reaper, And the bosom of a binder of sheaves.
Me sota kin kadirela kumut en pa en saundolung, de pa en me kin pir pena kap akan.
8 And the passers by have not said, “The blessing of YHWH [is] on you, We blessed you in the Name of YHWH!”
Pwe me kin daulul wasa o, ren der inda: Kot en kotin kupura maui komail! Kit kapai komail da ni mar en Ieowa!
