< Psalms 129 >

1 A SONG OF THE ASCENTS. Often they distressed me from my youth, Pray, let Israel say:
“Masansan a rautendak sipud pay kinaagtutubok,” ibaga koma ti Israel.
2 Often they distressed me from my youth, Yet they have not prevailed over me.
“Masansan a rautendak sipud pay kinaagtutubok, ngem saandak latta a naparmek.
3 Plowers have plowed over my back, They have made their furrows long.
Nagarado iti likodak dagiti agar-arado; pinaatiddogda dagiti gulgulisda.
4 YHWH [is] righteous, He has cut apart cords of the wicked.
Nalinteg ni Yahweh; pinutedna dagiti tali dagiti nadangkes.”
5 All hating Zion [are] confounded and turn backward.
Maibabainda koma amin ken tumallikodda, dagiti manggurgura iti Sion.
6 They are as grass of the roofs, That withers before it was drawn out,
Agbalinda koma a kasla iti ruot kadagiti tuktok ti balay a magango sakbay a dumakkel,
7 That has not filled the hand of a reaper, And the bosom of a binder of sheaves.
a saanna a mapunno iti ima ti aggapgapas wenno ti barukong ti agrepreppet iti apit.
8 And the passers by have not said, “The blessing of YHWH [is] on you, We blessed you in the Name of YHWH!”
Saan koma nga ibaga dagiti lumabas, “Maadda koma kadakayo ti bendision ni Yahweh; bendisionandakayo iti nagan ni Yahweh.”
