< Psalms 126 >
1 A SONG OF THE ASCENTS. In YHWH’s turning back [to] the captivity of Zion, We have been as dreamers.
Ko e Hiva ʻae ʻalu hake. ʻI he toe liliu ʻe Sihova ʻae pōpula ʻo Saione, naʻa tau tatau mo kinautolu ʻoku misi.
2 Then our mouth is filled [with] laughter, And our tongue [with] singing, Then they say among nations, “YHWH did great things with these.”
Pea naʻe toki fakapito ʻaki hotau ngutu ʻae kata, mo hotau ʻelelo ʻi he hiva: pea naʻe toki pehē ʻe he hiteni, “Kuo fai ʻe Sihova ʻae ngaahi meʻa lahi maʻanautolu.”
3 YHWH did great things with us, We have been joyful.
Kuo fai ʻe Sihova ʻae ngaahi meʻa lahi maʻatautolu; pea ʻoku tau fiefia ai.
4 Turn again, O YHWH, [to] our captivity, As streams in the south.
ʻE Sihova, ke ke toe liliu ʻemau pōpula, ʻo hangē ko e ngaahi vaitafe ʻi he feituʻu tonga.
5 Those sowing in tears, reap with singing,
Ko kinautolu ʻoku tūtuuʻi ʻi he loʻimata te nau tuʻusi ʻi he fiefia.
6 Whoever goes on and weeps, Carrying the basket of seed, Surely comes in with singing, carrying his sheaves!
Ko ia ʻoku ne ʻalu atu ʻo tangi, pea ʻave ʻae tenga mahuʻinga, te ne toe haʻu ʻi he fiefia, mo ʻomi ʻene ngaahi ū uite fakataha mo ia.
