1 A SONG OF THE ASCENTS. BY DAVID. I have rejoiced in those saying to me, “We go to the house of YHWH.”
Nandia-taroba iraho, te nanoa’ iereo ty hoe: Antao hiheo mb’añ’anjomba’ Iehovà.
2 Our feet have been standing in your gates, O Jerusalem!
Fa mijohañe amo lalam-bei’oo ty fandia’ay, ry Ierosalaime!
3 Jerusalem—the built one—[Is] as a city that is joined to itself together.
Hehe t’Ierosalaime, rova niranjieñe soa-fifamatotse.
4 For there tribes have gone up, Tribes of YAH, companies of Israel, To give thanks to the Name of YHWH.

5 For there thrones of judgment have sat, Thrones of the house of David.

6 Ask [for] the peace of Jerusalem, Those loving you are at rest.

7 Peace is in your bulwark, rest in your high places,
Fañanintsiñe ty ho an-kijoli’o ao, naho fierañerañañe amo anjomba’o mitiotiotseo.
8 For the sake of my brothers and my companions, Please let me speak, “Peace [be] in you.”
O longokoo naho o rañekoo, le hataoko ty hoe: Fañanintsiñe ama’o.
9 For the sake of the house of our God YHWH, I seek good for you!
I anjomba’ Iehovà Andrianañaharentikañey, ho paiako ty hampibodobodo azo.
