< Psalms 121 >
1 A SONG OF THE ASCENTS. I lift up my eyes to the hills, From where does my help come?
Kasang laa. Naa bang hoiah maw kai bomkung angzo tih? tiah poek hoiah mae bangah ka dan tahang.
2 My help [is] from YHWH, Maker of the heavens and earth,
Kai bomkung loe long hoi van sahkung, Angraeng khae hoiah ni ang zoh.
3 He does not permit your foot to be moved, He who is preserving you does not slumber.
Anih mah loe na khok to amthaeksak mak ai, nang toepkung loe iih angam mak ai.
4 Behold, He does not slumber, nor sleep, He who is preserving Israel.
Khenah, Israel toepkung loe iih angam mak ai, iip doeh iip mak ai.
5 YHWH [is] He who is preserving you, YHWH [is] your shade on your right hand,
Angraeng loe nang toepkung ah oh; Angraeng loe na bantang bangah nang han tahlip paekkung ah oh.
6 By day the sun does not strike you, Nor the moon by night.
Athun ah ni mah na kangh mak ai, aqum ah doeh khrah mah raihaih na paek mak ai.
7 YHWH preserves you from all evil, He preserves your soul.
Angraeng mah kahoih ai hmuen congca thung hoiah na pakaa ueloe, na hinghaih to toep tih.
8 YHWH preserves your going out and your coming in, From now on—even for all time!
Angraeng mah na caehhaih hoi nang zohhaih to vaihi hoi dungzan khoek to toep tih.
