Psalms 119
1 [ALEPH] O the blessedness of those perfect in the way, They are walking in the Law of YHWH,
Bemaventurados os rectos em seus caminhos, que andam na lei do Senhor.
2 O the blessedness of those keeping His testimonies, They seek Him with the whole heart.
Bemaventurados os que guardam os seus testemunhos, e que o buscam com todo o coração,
3 Indeed, they have not done iniquity, They have walked in His ways.
E não obram iniquidade: andam nos seus caminhos.
4 You have commanded us to diligently keep Your precepts,
Tu ordenaste os teus mandamentos, para que diligentemente os observassemos.
5 O that my ways were prepared to keep Your statutes,
Oxalá que os meus caminhos fossem dirigidos a observar os teus estatutos.
6 Then I am not ashamed In my looking to all Your commands.
Então não serei envergonhado, quando tiver respeito a todos os teus mandamentos.
7 I confess You with uprightness of heart, In my learning the judgments of Your righteousness.
Louvar-te-hei com rectidão de coração, quando tiver aprendido os teus justos juizos.
8 I keep Your statutes, do not utterly leave me!
Observarei os teus estatutos: não me desampares totalmente.
9 [BETH] With what does a young man purify his path? To observe—according to Your word.
Com que purificará o mancebo o seu caminho? observando-o conforme a tua palavra.
10 I have sought You with all my heart, Do not let me err from Your commands.
Com todo o meu coração te busquei: não me deixes desviar dos meus mandamentos.
11 I have hid Your saying in my heart, That I do not sin before You.
A tua palavra tenho eu escondido no meu coração, para não peccar contra ti
12 Blessed [are] You, O YHWH, teach me Your statutes.
Bemdito és tu, ó Senhor; ensina-me os teus estatutos.
13 With my lips I have recounted All the judgments of Your mouth.
Com os meus labios declarei todos os juizos da tua bocca.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As over all wealth.
Folguei tanto no caminho dos teus testemunhos, como em todas as riquezas.
15 I meditate on Your precepts, And I attentively behold Your paths.
Meditarei nos teus preceitos, e terei respeito aos teus caminhos.
16 I delight myself in Your statutes, I do not forget Your word.
Recrear-me-hei nos teus estatutos: não me esquecerei da tua palavra.
17 [GIMEL] Confer benefits on Your servant, I live, and I keep Your word.
Faze bem ao teu servo, para que viva e observe a tua palavra.
18 Uncover my eyes, and I behold wonders out of Your law.
Abre tu os meus olhos, para que veja as maravilhas da tua lei.
19 I [am] a sojourner on earth, Do not hide Your commands from me.
Sou peregrino na terra: não escondas de mim os teus mandamentos.
20 My soul has broken for desire To Your judgments at all times.
A minha alma está quebrantada de desejar os teus juizos em todo o tempo.
21 You have rebuked the cursed proud, Who are erring from Your commands.
Tu reprehendeste asperamente os soberbos que são amaldiçoados, que se desviam dos teus mandamentos.
22 Remove reproach and contempt from me, For I have kept Your testimonies.
Tira de sobre mim o opprobrio e o desprezo, pois guardei os teus testemunhos.
23 Princes also sat—they spoke against me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes,
Principes tambem se assentaram, e fallaram contra mim, mas o teu servo meditou nos teus estatutos.
24 Your testimonies [are] also my delight, The men of my counsel!
Tambem os teus testemunhos são o meu prazer e os meus conselheiros.
25 [DALETH] My soul has cleaved to the dust, Quicken me according to Your word.
A minha alma está pegada ao pó: vivifica-me segundo a tua palavra.
26 I have recounted my ways, And You answer me, teach me Your statutes,
Eu te contei os meus caminhos, e tu me ouviste: ensina-me os teus estatutos.
27 Cause me to understand the way of Your precepts, And I meditate on Your wonders.
Faze-me entender os caminhos dos teus preceitos: assim fallarei das tuas maravilhas.
28 My soul has dropped from affliction, Establish me according to Your word.
A minha alma se derrete de tristeza: fortalece-me segundo a tua palavra.
29 Turn aside the way of falsehood from me And favor me with Your law.
Desvia de mim o caminho da falsidade, e concede-me piedosamente a tua lei.
30 I have chosen the way of faithfulness, I have compared Your judgments,
Tenho escolhido o caminho da verdade: os teus juizos tenho posto diante de mim.
31 I have adhered to Your testimonies, O YHWH, do not put me to shame.
Tenho-me apegado aos teus testemunhos: ó Senhor, não me confundas.
32 I run the way of Your commands, For You enlarge my heart!
Percorrerei o caminho dos teus mandamentos, quando dilatares o meu coração.
33 [HE] Show me, O YHWH, the way of Your statutes, And I keep it—[to] the end.
Ensina-me, ó Senhor, o caminho dos teus estatutos, e guardal-o-hei até ao fim.
34 Cause me to understand, and I keep Your law, And observe it with the whole heart.
Dá-me entendimento, e guardarei a tua lei, e observal-a-hei de todo o meu coração.
35 Cause me to tread in the path of Your commands, For I have delighted in it.
Faze-me andar na vereda dos teus mandamentos, porque n'ella tenho prazer.
36 Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to dishonest gain.
Inclina o meu coração aos teus testemunhos, e não á cubiça.
37 Remove my eyes from seeing vanity, Quicken me in Your way.
Desvia os meus olhos de contemplarem a vaidade, e vivifica-me no teu caminho.
38 Establish Your saying to Your servant, That [is] concerning Your fear.
Confirma a tua palavra ao teu servo, que é dedicado ao teu temor.
39 Remove my reproach that I have feared, For Your judgments [are] good.
Desvia de mim o opprobrio que temo, pois os teus juizos são bons.
40 Behold, I have longed for Your precepts, Quicken me in Your righteousness,
Eis que tenho desejado os teus preceitos; vivifica-me na tua justiça.
41 [WAW] And Your kindness meets me, O YHWH, Your salvation according to Your saying.
Venham sobre mim tambem as tuas misericordias, ó Senhor, e a tua salvação segundo a tua palavra.
42 And I answer him who is reproaching me a word, For I have trusted in Your word.
Assim terei que responder ao que me affronta, pois confio na tua palavra.
43 And You do not utterly take away The word of truth from my mouth, Because I have hoped for Your judgment.
E não tires totalmente a palavra de verdade da minha bocca, pois tenho esperado nos teus juizos.
44 And I keep Your law continually, For all time and forever.
Assim observarei de continuo a tua lei para sempre e eternamente.
45 And I habitually walk in a broad place, For I have sought Your precepts.
E andarei em liberdade; pois busco os teus preceitos.
46 And I speak of Your testimonies before kings, And I am not ashamed.
Tambem fallarei dos teus testemunhos perante os reis, e não me envergonharei.
47 And I delight myself in Your commands, That I have loved,
E recrear-me-hei em teus mandamentos, que tenho amado.
48 And I lift up my hands to Your commands, That I have loved, And I meditate on Your statutes!
Tambem levantarei as minhas mãos para os teus mandamentos, que amei, e meditarei nos teus estatutos.
49 [ZAYIN] Remember the word to Your servant, On which You have caused me to hope.
Lembra-te da palavra dada ao teu servo, na qual me fizeste esperar.
50 This [is] my comfort in my affliction, That Your saying has quickened me.
Isto é a minha consolação na minha afflicção, porque a tua palavra me vivificou.
51 The proud have utterly scorned me, I have not turned aside from Your law.
Os soberbos zombaram grandemente de mim; comtudo não me desviei da tua lei.
52 I remembered Your judgments of old, O YHWH, And I comfort myself.
Lembrei-me dos teus juizos antiquissimos, ó Senhor, e assim me consolei.
53 Horror has seized me, Because of the wicked forsaking Your law.
Grande indignação se apoderou de mim por causa dos impios que desamparam a tua lei.
54 Your statutes have been songs to me, In the house of my sojournings.
Os teus estatutos teem sido os meus canticos, na casa da minha peregrinação.
55 I have remembered Your Name in the night, O YHWH, And I keep Your law.
Lembrei-me do teu nome, ó Senhor, de noite, e observei a tua lei.
56 This has been to me, That I have kept Your precepts!
Isto fiz eu, porque guardei os teus mandamentos.
57 [HETH] YHWH [is] my portion; I have said I would keep Your words,
O Senhor é a minha porção: eu disse que observaria as tuas palavras.
58 I appeased Your face with the whole heart, Favor me according to Your saying.
Roguei devéras o teu favor com todo o meu coração: tem piedade de mim, segundo a tua palavra.
59 I have reckoned my ways, And turn back my feet to Your testimonies.
Considerei os meus caminhos, e voltei os meus pés para os teus testemunhos.
60 I have made haste, And did not delay, to keep Your commands.
Apressei-me, e não me detive, a observar os teus mandamentos.
61 Cords of the wicked have surrounded me, I have not forgotten Your law.
Bandos de impios me despojaram, mas eu não me esqueci da tua lei.
62 At midnight I rise to give thanks to You, For the judgments of Your righteousness.
Á meia noite me levantarei para te louvar, pelos teus justos juizos.
63 I [am] a companion to all who fear You, And to those keeping Your precepts.
Companheiro sou de todos os que te temem e dos que guardam os teus preceitos.
64 Of Your kindness, O YHWH, the earth is full, Teach me Your statutes!
A terra, ó Senhor, está cheia da tua benignidade: ensina-me os teus estatutos.
65 [TETH] You did good with Your servant, O YHWH, According to Your word.
Fizeste bem ao teu servo, Senhor, segundo a tua palavra.
66 Teach me the goodness of reason and knowledge, For I have believed in Your commands.
Ensina-me bom juizo e sciencia, pois cri nos teus mandamentos.
67 Before I am afflicted, I am erring, And now I have kept Your saying.
Antes de ser afflicto andava errado; mas agora tenho guardado a tua palavra.
68 You [are] good, and doing good, Teach me Your statutes.
Tu és bom e fazes bem: ensina-me os teus estatutos.
69 The proud have forged falsehood against me, I keep Your precepts with the whole heart.
Os soberbos forjaram mentiras contra mim; mas eu com todo o meu coração guardarei os teus preceitos.
70 Their heart has been thick as fat, I have delighted in Your law.
Engrossa-se-lhes o coração como gordura, mas eu me recreio na tua lei.
71 [It is] good for me that I have been afflicted, That I might learn Your statutes.
Foi-me bom ter sido afflicto, para que aprendesse os teus estatutos.
72 The Law of Your mouth [is] better to me Than thousands of gold and silver!
Melhor é para mim a lei da tua bocca do que milhares de oiro ou prata.
73 [YOD] Your hands made me and establish me, Cause me to understand, and I learn Your commands.
As tuas mãos me fizeram e me formaram; dá-me intelligencia para entender os teus mandamentos.
74 Those fearing You see me and rejoice, Because I have hoped for Your word.
Os que te temem alegraram-se quando me viram, porque tenho esperado na tua palavra.
75 I have known, O YHWH, That Your judgments [are] righteous, And [in] faithfulness You have afflicted me.
Bem sei eu, ó Senhor, que os teus juizos são justos, e que segundo a tua fidelidade me affligiste.
76 Please let Your kindness be to comfort me, According to Your saying to Your servant.
Sirva pois a tua benignidade para me consolar, segundo a palavra que déste ao teu servo.
77 Your mercies meet me, and I live, For Your law [is] my delight.
Venham sobre mim as tuas misericordias, para que viva, pois a tua lei é as minhas delicias.
78 The proud are ashamed, For [with] falsehood they dealt perversely with me. I meditate on Your precepts.
Confundam-se os soberbos, pois me trataram d'uma maneira perversa, sem causa; mas eu meditarei nos teus preceitos.
79 Those fearing You turn back to me, And those knowing Your testimonies.
Voltem-se para mim os que te temem, e aquelles que teem conhecido os teus testemunhos.
80 My heart is perfect in Your statutes, So that I am not ashamed.
Seja recto o meu coração nos teus estatutos, para que não seja confundido.
81 [KAPH] My soul has been consumed for Your salvation, I have hoped for Your word.
Desfallece a minha alma pela tua salvação, mas espero na tua palavra.
82 My eyes have been consumed for Your word, Saying, “When does it comfort me?”
Os meus olhos desfallecem pela tua palavra; entretanto dizia: Quando me consolarás tu?
83 For I have been as a bottle in smoke, I have not forgotten Your statutes.
Pois estou como odre no fumo; comtudo não me esqueço dos teus estatutos.
84 How many [are] the days of Your servant? When do You execute judgment Against my pursuers?
Quantos serão os dias do teu servo? Quando me farás justiça contra os que me perseguem?
85 The proud have dug pits for me, That [are] not according to Your law.
Os soberbos me cavaram covas, o que não é conforme á tua lei.
86 All Your commands [are] faithfulness, They have pursued me [with] falsehood, Help me.
Todos os teus mandamentos são verdade: com mentiras me perseguem; ajuda-me.
87 They have almost consumed me on earth, And I have not forsaken Your precepts.
Quasi que me teem consumido sobre a terra, mas eu não deixei os teus preceitos.
88 Quicken me according to Your kindness, And I keep the Testimony of Your mouth!
Vivifica-me segundo a tua benignidade; assim guardarei o testemunho da tua bocca.
89 [LAMED] For all time, O YHWH, Your word is set up in the heavens.
Para sempre, ó Senhor, a tua palavra permanece no céu.
90 Your faithfulness from generation to generation, You established earth, and it stands.
A tua fidelidade dura de geração em geração: tu firmaste a terra, e ella permanece firme.
91 According to Your ordinances They have stood this day, for the whole—Your servants.
Elles continuam até ao dia d'hoje, segundo as tuas ordenações; porque todos são teus servos.
92 Unless Your law [were] my delights, Then had I perished in my affliction.
Se a tua lei não fôra toda a minha recreação, ha muito que pereceria na minha afflicção.
93 I do not forget Your precepts for all time, For You have quickened me by them.
Nunca me esquecerei dos teus preceitos; pois por elles me tens vivificado.
94 I [am] Yours, save me, for I have sought Your precepts.
Sou teu, salva-me; pois tenho buscado os teus preceitos.
95 Your wicked waited for me to destroy me, I understand Your testimonies.
Os impios me esperam para me destruirem, mas eu considerarei os teus testemunhos.
96 I have seen an end of all perfection, Your command [is] exceedingly broad!
Tenho visto fim a toda a perfeição, mas o teu mandamento é amplicissimo.
97 [MEM] O how I have loved Your law! It [is] my meditation all the day.
Oh! quanto amo a tua lei! é a minha meditação em todo o dia.
98 Your command makes me wiser than my enemies, For it [is] before me for all time.
Tu pelos teus mandamentos me fazes mais sabio do que os meus inimigos, pois estão sempre comigo.
99 I have acted wisely above all my teachers. For Your testimonies [are] my (meditation)
Tenho mais entendimento do que todos os meus mestres, porque os teus testemunhos são a minha meditação.
100 Above elderly—I understand more, For I have kept Your precepts.
Entendo mais do que os antigos; porque guardo os teus preceitos.
101 I restrained my feet from every evil path, So that I keep Your word.
Desviei os meus pés de todo o caminho mau, para guardar a tua palavra.
102 I did not turn aside from Your judgments, For You have directed me.
Não me apartei dos teus juizos, pois tu me ensinaste.
103 How sweet Your saying has been to my palate, Above honey to my mouth.
Oh! quão doces são as tuas palavras ao meu paladar, mais doces do que o mel á minha bocca.
104 I have understanding from Your precepts, Therefore I have hated every false path!
Pelos teus mandamentos alcancei entendimento; pelo que aborreço todo o falso caminho.
105 [NUN] Your word [is] a lamp to my foot, And a light to my path.
A tua palavra é uma lampada para os meus pés e uma luz para o meu caminho.
106 I have sworn, and I confirm, To keep the judgments of Your righteousness.
Jurei, e o cumprirei, que guardarei os teus justos juizos.
107 I have been afflicted very much, O YHWH, quicken me, according to Your word.
Estou afflictissimo; vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo a tua palavra.
108 Please accept [the] free-will offerings of my mouth, O YHWH, And teach me Your judgments.
Acceita, eu te rogo, as offerendas voluntarias da minha bocca, ó Senhor; ensina-me os teus juizos.
109 My soul [is] in my hand continually, And I have not forgotten Your law.
A minha alma está de continuo nas minhas mãos; todavia não me esqueço da tua lei
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me, And I did not wander from your precepts.
Os impios me armaram laço; comtudo não me desviei dos teus preceitos.
111 I have inherited Your testimonies for all time, For they [are] the joy of my heart.
Os teus testemunhos tenho eu tomado por herança para sempre, pois são o gozo do meu coração.
112 I have inclined my heart To do Your statutes, for all time—[to] the end!
Inclinei o meu coração a guardar os teus estatutos, para sempre, até ao fim.
113 [SAMEKH] I have hated doubting ones, And I have loved Your law.
Aborreço a duplicidade, mas amo a tua lei.
114 You [are] my hiding place and my shield, I have hoped for Your word.
Tu és o meu refugio e o meu escudo; espero na tua palavra.
115 Turn aside from me, you evildoers, And I keep the commands of my God.
Apartae-vos de mim, malfeitores, pois guardarei os mandamentos do meu Deus.
116 Sustain me according to Your saying, And I live, and You do not put me to shame because of my hope.
Sustenta-me conforme a tua palavra, para que viva, e não me deixes envergonhado da minha esperança.
117 Support me, and I am saved, And I look on Your statutes continually.
Sustenta-me, e serei salvo, e de continuo terei respeito aos teus estatutos.
118 You have trodden down All going astray from Your statutes, For their deceit [is] falsehood.
Tu tens pisado aos pés todos os que se desviam dos teus estatutos, pois o engano d'elles é falsidade.
119 Dross! You have caused to cease All the wicked of the earth; Therefore I have loved Your testimonies.
Tu tiraste da terra todos os impios, como a escoria, pelo que amo os teus testemunhos.
120 My flesh has trembled from Your fear, And I have been afraid from Your judgments!
O meu corpo se arrepiou com temor de ti, e temi os teus juizos.
121 [AYIN] I have done judgment and righteousness, Do not leave me to my oppressors.
Fiz juizo e justiça: não me entregues aos meus oppressores.
122 Make Your servant sure for good, Do not let the proud oppress me.
Fica por fiador do teu servo para o bem; não deixes que os soberbos me opprimam.
123 My eyes have been consumed for Your salvation. And for the saying of Your righteousness.
Os meus olhos desfalleceram pela tua salvação e pela promessa da tua justiça.
124 Do with Your servant according to Your kindness. And teach me Your statutes.
Usa com o teu servo segundo a tua benignidade, e ensina-me os teus estatutos.
125 I [am] Your servant—cause me to understand, And I know Your testimonies.
Sou teu servo: dá-me intelligencia, para entender os teus testemunhos.
126 Time for YHWH to work! They have made Your law void.
Já é tempo de operares ó Senhor, pois elles teem quebrantado a tua lei.
127 Therefore I have loved Your commands Above gold—even fine gold.
Pelo que amo os teus mandamentos mais do que o oiro, e ainda mais do que o oiro fino.
128 Therefore all my appointments I have declared wholly right, I have hated every path of falsehood!
Por isso estimo todos os teus preceitos ácerca de tudo, como rectos, e aborreço toda a falsa vereda.
129 [PE] Your testimonies [are] wonderful, Therefore my soul has kept them.
Maravilhosos são os teus testemunhos; portanto a minha alma os guarda.
130 The opening of Your words enlightens, Instructing the simple.
A entrada das tuas palavras dá luz, dá entendimento aos simplices.
131 I have opened my mouth, indeed, I pant, For I have longed for Your commands.
Abri a minha bocca, e respirei, pois que desejei os teus mandamentos.
132 Look to me, and favor me, As customary to those loving Your Name.
Olha para mim, e tem piedade de mim, conforme usas com os que amam o teu nome.
133 Establish my steps by Your saying, And any iniquity does not rule over me.
Ordena os meus passos na tua palavra, e não se apodere de mim iniquidade alguma.
134 Ransom me from the oppression of man, And I observe Your precepts,
Livra-me da oppressão do homem; assim guardarei os teus preceitos.
135 Cause Your face to shine on Your servant, And teach me Your statutes.
Faze resplandecer o teu rosto sobre o teu servo, e ensina-me os teus estatutos.
136 Streams of waters have come down my eyes, Because they have not kept Your law!
Rios d'aguas correm dos meus olhos, porque não guardam a tua lei.
137 [TSADE] You [are] righteous, O YHWH, And Your judgments [are] upright.
Justo és, ó Senhor, e rectos são os teus juizos.
138 You have appointed Your testimonies, Righteous and exceedingly faithful,
Os teus testemunhos que ordenaste são rectos e muito fieis.
139 My zeal has cut me off, For my adversaries forgot Your words.
O meu zelo me consumiu, porque os meus inimigos se esqueceram da tua palavra.
140 Your saying [is] tried exceedingly, And Your servant has loved it.
A tua palavra é muito pura; portanto o teu servo a ama.
141 I [am] small, and despised, I have not forgotten Your precepts.
Pequeno sou e desprezado, porém não me esqueço dos teus mandamentos.
142 Your righteousness [is] righteousness for all time, And Your law [is] truth.
A tua justiça é uma justiça eterna, e a tua lei é a verdade.
143 Adversity and distress have found me, Your commands [are] my delights.
Aperto e angustia se apoderam de mim; comtudo os teus mandamentos são o meu prazer.
144 The righteousness of Your testimonies [Is] to cause me to understand, and I live!
A justiça dos teus testemunhos é eterna; dá-me intelligencia, e viverei.
145 [QOF] I have called with the whole heart, Answer me, O YHWH, I keep Your statutes,
Clamei de todo o meu coração; escuta-me, Senhor, e guardarei os teus estatutos.
146 I have called You, save me, And I keep Your testimonies.
A ti te invoquei; salva-me, e guardarei os teus testemunhos.
147 I have gone forward in the dawn, and I cry, I have hoped for Your word.
Preveni a alva da manhã, e clamei: esperei na tua palavra.
148 My eyes have gone before the watches, To meditate on Your saying.
Os meus olhos preveniram as vigilias da noite, para meditar na tua palavra.
149 Hear my voice, according to Your kindness, YHWH, quicken me according to Your judgment.
Ouve a minha voz, segundo a tua benignidade: vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo o teu juizo.
150 My wicked pursuers have been near, They have been far off from Your law.
Approximam-se os que se dão a maus tratos: affastam-se da tua lei.
151 You [are] near, O YHWH, And all Your commands [are] truth.
Tu estás perto ó Senhor, e todos os teus mandamentos são a verdade.
152 I have known Your testimonies of old, That You have founded them for all time!
Ácerca dos teus testemunhos soube, desde a antiguidade, que tu os fundaste para sempre.
153 [RESH] See my affliction, and deliver me, For I have not forgotten Your law.
Olha para a minha afflicção, e livra-me, pois não me esqueci da tua lei.
154 Plead my plea, and redeem me, Quicken me according to Your saying.
Pleiteia a minha causa, e livra-me: vivifica-me segundo a tua palavra.
155 Salvation [is] far from the wicked, For they have not sought Your statutes.
A salvação está longe dos impios, pois não buscam os teus estatutos.
156 Your mercies [are] many, O YHWH, Quicken me according to Your judgments.
Muitas são, ó Senhor, as tuas misericordias: vivifica-me segundo os teus juizos.
157 My pursuers and adversaries are many, I have not turned aside from Your testimonies.
Muitos são os meus perseguidores e os meus inimigos; porém não me desvio dos teus testemunhos.
158 I have seen treacherous ones, And grieve myself, Because they have not kept Your saying.
Vi os transgressores, e me affligi, porque não observam a tua palavra.
159 See, for I have loved Your precepts, YHWH, quicken me according to Your kindness.
Considera como amo os teus preceitos: vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo a tua benignidade.
160 The sum of Your word [is] truth, And every judgment of Your righteousness [is] for all time!
A tua palavra é a verdade desde o principio, e cada um dos teus juizos dura para sempre.
161 [SHIN] Princes have pursued me without cause, And my heart was afraid because of Your words.
Principes me perseguiram sem causa, mas o meu coração temeu a tua palavra.
162 I rejoice concerning Your saying, As one finding abundant spoil.
Folgo com a tua palavra, como aquelle que acha um grande despojo.
163 I have hated falsehood, indeed I detest [it], I have loved Your law.
Abomino e aborreço a falsidade, porém amo a tua lei.
164 Seven [times] in a day I have praised You, Because of the judgments of Your righteousness.
Sete vezes no dia te louvo pelos juizos da tua justiça.
165 Those loving Your law have abundant peace, And they have no stumbling-block.
Muita paz teem os que amam a tua lei, e para elles não ha tropeço.
166 I have waited for Your salvation, O YHWH, And I have done Your commands.
Senhor, tenho esperado na tua salvação, e tenho cumprido os teus mandamentos.
167 My soul has kept Your testimonies, And I love them exceedingly.
A minha alma tem observado os teus testemunhos; amo-os excessivamente.
168 I have kept Your precepts and Your testimonies, For all my ways are before You!
Tenho observado os teus preceitos e os teus testemunhos, porque todos os meus caminhos estão diante de ti.
169 [TAW] My loud cry comes near before You, O YHWH; Cause me to understand according to Your word.
Chegue a ti o meu clamor, ó Senhor: dá-me entendimento conforme a tua palavra.
170 My supplication comes in before You, Deliver me according to Your saying.
Chegue a minha supplica perante a tua face: livra-me segundo a tua palavra.
171 My lips utter praise, For You teach me Your statutes.
Os meus labios proferiram o louvor, quando me ensinaste os teus estatutos.
172 My tongue sings of Your saying, For all Your commands [are] righteous.
A minha lingua fallará da tua palavra, pois todos os teus mandamentos são justiça.
173 Your hand is for a help to me, For I have chosen Your commands.
Venha a tua mão soccorrer-me, pois elegi os teus preceitos.
174 I have longed for Your salvation, O YHWH, And Your law [is] my delight.
Tenho desejado a tua salvação, ó Senhor, a tua lei é todo o meu prazer.
175 My soul lives, and it praises You, And Your judgments help me.
Viva a minha alma, e louvar-te-ha: ajudem-me os teus juizos.
176 I wandered as a lost sheep, [so] seek Your servant, For I have not forgotten Your precepts!
Desgarrei-me como a ovelha perdida; busca o teu servo, pois não me esqueci dos teus mandamentos.
