Psalms 118
1 Give thanks to YHWH, For [He is] good, for His kindness [is] for all time.
Monna Awurade ase efisɛ oye, na nʼadɔe wɔ hɔ daa.
2 Now let Israel say, His kindness [is] for all time.
Momma Israel nka se, “Nʼadɔe wɔ hɔ daa.”
3 Now let the house of Aaron say, His kindness [is] for all time.
Momma Aaronfi nka se, “Nʼadɔe wɔ hɔ daa.”
4 Now let those fearing YHWH say, His kindness [is] for all time.
Momma wɔn a wosuro Awurade nka se, “Nʼadɔe wɔ hɔ daa.”
5 I called YAH from the narrow place, YAH answered me in a broad place.
Mʼahohia mu, misu frɛɛ Awurade; ogyee me so, na ɔma me dee me ho.
6 YHWH [is] for me, I do not fear what man does to me.
Awurade ne me boafo; enti merensuro. Dɛn na onipa betumi ayɛ me?
7 YHWH [is] for me among my helpers, And I look on those hating me.
Awurade ne me wɔ hɔ; ɔyɛ me boafo. Mede nkonimdi bɛhwɛ mʼatamfo.
8 Better to take refuge in YHWH, Than to trust in man,
Eye sɛ yebehintaw wɔ Awurade mu, sen sɛ yɛde yɛn ho bɛto onipa so.
9 Better to take refuge in YHWH, Than to trust in princes.
Eye sɛ yebehintaw Awurade mu, sen sɛ yɛde yɛn ho bɛto mmapɔmma so.
10 All nations have surrounded me, In the Name of YHWH I surely cut them off.
Amanaman no nyinaa twaa me ho hyiae, nanso Awurade din mu mitwitwaa wɔn gui.
11 They have surrounded me, Indeed, they have surrounded me, In the Name of YHWH I surely cut them off.
Wotwaa me ho hyiaa wɔ baabiara, nanso Awurade din mu, mitwitwaa wɔn gui.
12 They surrounded me as bees, They have been extinguished as a fire of thorns, In the Name of YHWH I surely cut them off.
Wɔkyere guu me so sɛ nnowa, nanso wɔhyew ntɛm so sɛ nsɔe a ogya atɔ mu; Awurade din mu mitwitwaa wɔn gui.
13 You have severely thrust me to fall, And YHWH has helped me.
Wosum me kɔɔ mʼakyi a anka mereyɛ ahwe ase, nanso Awurade boaa me.
14 YAH is my strength and song, And He is to me for salvation.
Awurade yɛ mʼahoɔden ne me bammɔ; wayɛ me nkwagye.
15 A voice of singing and salvation, [Is] in the tents of the righteous, The right hand of YHWH is doing valiantly.
Osebɔ ne nkonimdi gyigye wɔ atreneefo ntamadan mu se, “Awurade nsa nifa ayɛ nneɛma akɛse!
16 The right hand of YHWH is exalted, The right hand of YHWH is doing valiantly.
Wɔama Awurade nsa nifa so; Awurade nsa nifa ayɛ nneɛma akɛse!”
17 I do not die, but live, And recount the works of YAH,
Merenwu, mmom mɛtena ase na mapae mu aka nea Awurade ayɛ.
18 YAH has severely disciplined me, And has not given me up to death.
Awurade atwe mʼaso dennen, nanso onyaa me mmaa owu ɛ.
19 Open gates of righteousness to me, I enter into them—I thank YAH.
Bue trenee apon ma me; na mɛhyɛn mu na mede aseda ama Awurade.
20 This [is] the gate to YHWH, The righteous enter into it.
Awurade ponkɛse ni; ɛhɔ na atreneefo bɛfa ahyɛn mu.
21 I thank You, for You have answered me, And are to me for salvation.
Mɛda wo ase, efisɛ wugyee me so; na woayɛ me nkwagye.
22 A stone the builders refused Has become head of a corner.
Ɔbo a adansifo no poe no, abɛyɛ tweatibo.
23 This has been from YHWH, It [is] wonderful in our eyes,
Awurade na wayɛ eyi, na ɛyɛ nwonwa wɔ yɛn ani so.
24 This [is] the day YHWH has made, We rejoice and are glad in it.
Nnɛ yɛ da a Awurade ayɛ. Momma yɛn ani nnye na yenni ahurusi.
25 Ah, now, O YHWH, please save, Ah, now, O YHWH, please prosper.
Awurade, gye yɛn nkwa; Awurade, ma yɛn nkonimdi.
26 Blessed [is] He who is coming In the Name of YHWH, We blessed you from the house of YHWH,
Nhyira ne nea ɔnam Awurade din mu reba. Yehyira wo fi Awurade fi.
27 God [is] YHWH, and He gives light to us, Direct the festal-sacrifice with cords, To the horns of the altar.
Awurade yɛ Onyankopɔn, na wama ne hann ahyerɛn yɛn so. Momfa nnua mman nkura na yɛnto afɔrebɔ santen nkɔ afɔremuka no mmɛn ho.
28 You [are] my God, and I confess You, My God, I exalt You.
Woyɛ me Nyankopɔn na meyi wo ayɛ; wone me Nyankopɔn na mɛma wo so.
29 Give thanks to YHWH, For [He is] good, for His kindness [is] for all time!
