Psalms 116
1 I have loved, because YHWH hears My voice, my supplication,
Ka lok hoi tahmen ka hnikhaih lok, anih mah ang thaih pae pongah, Angraeng to ka palung.
2 Because He has inclined His ear to me, And during my days I call.
Kai khae bangah a naa to patueng pongah, ka hing thung anih to ka kawk han.
3 Cords of death have surrounded me, And straits of Sheol have found me, I find distress and sorrow. (Sheol h7585)
Kai loe duekhaih qui mah ang zaeng moe, taprong patangkhanghaih mah ang naeh; raihaih hoi palungsethaih to ka tongh. (Sheol h7585)
4 And in the Name of YHWH I call: Ah, now, O YHWH, deliver my soul,
To naah Angraeng ih ahmin to ka kawk; Aw Angraeng, ka hinghaih na pahlong ah, tiah ka hnik.
5 YHWH [is] gracious, and righteous, Indeed, our God [is] merciful,
Angraeng loe toeng moe, tahmenhaih hoiah koi; ue, aicae ih Sithaw loe palungnathaih hoiah koi.
6 YHWH [is] a preserver of the simple, I was low, and He gives salvation to me.
Angraeng mah poektoeng kami to khetzawn; poekhaih ka pahnaem naah, kai hae ang bomh.
7 Return, O my soul, to your rest, For YHWH has conferred benefits on you.
Aw ka hinghaih, nang hakhaih ahmuen ah amlaem ah; Angraeng mah nang hanah kahoih hmuen to sak boeh.
8 For You have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, my feet from overthrowing.
Duekhaih thung hoiah ka hinghaih hae pahlong ah, mikkhraetui krakhaih thung hoiah ka mik hae pahlong ah loe, amthaekhaih thung hoiah ka khoknawk to na pahlong rae ah.
9 I habitually walk before YHWH In the lands of the living.
Kai loe kahing kaminawk ih prae ah Angraeng hmaa ah ka caeh han.
10 I have believed, for I speak, I have been greatly afflicted.
Kai loe patangkhang parai boeh, tiah ka thuih, toe tanghaih ka tawnh vop.
11 I said in my haste, “Every man [is] a liar.”

12 What do I return to YHWH? All His benefits [are] on me.
Angraeng mah ka nuiah sak ih hoihaihnawk boih kawbangmaw ka pathok han?
13 I lift up the cup of salvation, And in the Name of YHWH I call.
Pahlonghaih boengloeng to ka patawnh moe, Angraeng ih ahmin to ka kawk han.
14 Let me complete my vows to YHWH, Now, before all His people.
Angraeng khaeah lokkamhaih to anih ih kaminawk boih hmaa ah ka koepsak han.
15 Precious in the eyes of YHWH [is] the death of His saints.
Angmah ih kaciim kaminawk duekhaih loe, Angraeng mikhnuk ah atho kaom koek ah oh.
16 Ah, now, O YHWH, for I [am] Your servant; I [am] Your servant, son of Your handmaid; You have opened my bonds.
Aw Angraeng, kai loe na tamna tangtang ni; kai loe na tamna hoi na tamna nongpata ih capa ah ka oh; pathlethaih khawkqui to nang khramh pae.
17 I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanks to You, And in the Name of YHWH I call.
Kawnhaih lok thuihaih to nang khaeah kang tathlang moe, Angraeng ih ahmin to ka kawk han.
18 Let me complete my vows to YHWH, Now, before all His people,
Angmah ih kaminawk boih hmaa ah Angraeng khaeah lokkamhaih to ka koepsak han,
19 In the courts of the house of YHWH, In your midst, O Jerusalem, praise YAH!
