Psalms 115

1 Not to us, O YHWH, not to us, But to Your Name give glory, For Your kindness, for Your truth.

हाम्रो होइन, हे परमप्रभु, हाम्रो होइन, तर तपाईंको करारको विश्‍वस्‍तता र तपाईंको सत्‍यताको खातिर तपाईंको नाउँको महिमा होस् ।

2 Why do the nations say, “Where, pray, [is] their God?”

जातिहरूले किन यसो भन्‍ने, “तिनीहरूका परमेश्‍वर कहाँ छ?”

3 And our God [is] in the heavens, All that He has pleased He has done.

हाम्रा परमेश्‍वर स्वर्गमा हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँले जे इच्‍छा गर्नुहुन्छ त्यही उहाँले गर्नुहुन्छ ।

4 Their idols [are] silver and gold, work of man’s hands,

जातिहरूको मूर्तीहरू सुन र चाँदी अर्थात् मानिसहरूका हातका काम हुन् ।

5 They have a mouth, and they do not speak, They have eyes, and they do not see,

ती मूर्तीहरूका मुखहरू छन्, तर ती बोल्दैनन् । तिनीहरूका आँखाहरू छन्, तर तिनले देख्‍दैनन् ।

6 They have ears, and they do not hear, They have a nose, and they do not smell,

तिनीहरूका कानहरू छन्, तर तिनले सुन्दैनन् । तिनीहरूका नाकहरू छन्, तर तिनले सुँघ्दैनन् ।

7 Their hands, but they do not handle, Their feet, and they do not walk;

ती मूर्तीहरूका हातहरू छन् तर छोएको तिनले थाहा पाउँदैनन् । तिनीहरूका खुट्टाहरू छन्, तर तिनीहरू हिंड्न सक्दैनन् । न त तिनीहरूले आफ्‍ना मुखबाट बोल्‍न सक्‍छन् ।

8 Nor do they mutter through their throat, Their makers are like them, Everyone who is trusting in them.

तिनीहरूलाई बनाउनेहरू तिनीहरूजस्तै छन्, तिनीहरूमा भरोसा गर्ने हरेक व्‍यक्‍ति त्‍यस्तै हुन्‍छ ।

9 O Israel, trust in YHWH, “He [is] their help and their shield.”

ए इस्राएल परमप्रभुमा भरोसा गर् । उहाँ तेरो सहायता र ढाल हुनुहुन्छ ।

10 O house of Aaron, trust in YHWH, “He [is] their help and their shield.”

ए हारूनका घराना, परमप्रभुमा भरोसा गर् । उहाँ तेरो सहायता र ढाल हुनुहुन्छ ।

11 You fearing YHWH, trust in YHWH, “He [is] their help and their shield.”

तिमीहरू जसले परमप्रभुलाई आदर गर्छौ उहाँमा भरोसा गर । उहाँ तिमीहरूका सहायता र ढाल हुनुहुन्छ ।

12 YHWH has remembered us, He blesses, He blesses the house of Israel, He blesses the house of Aaron,

परमप्रभुले हामीलाई ध्‍यान दिनुहुन्छ र हामीलाई आशिष्‌ ‌‌दिनुहुन्छ । उहाँले इस्राएलका घरानालाई आशिष्‌ ‌‌दिनुहुनेछ । उहाँले हारूनका घरानालाई आशिष्‌ ‌‌दिनुहुनेछ ।

13 He blesses those fearing YHWH, The small with the great.

उहाँलाई आदर गर्नेहरू, जवान र वृद्ध दुवैलाई उहाँले आशिष्‌ ‌‌दिनुहुनेछ ।

14 YHWH adds to you—to you and to your sons.

परमप्रभुले, तिमीहरूलाई, अर्थात् तिमीहरू र तिमीहरूका सन्तानहरूका सङ्‍ख्या धेरै वृद्धि गरून् ।

15 Blessed [are] you of YHWH, Maker of the heavens and earth,

परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई आशिष्‌ देऊन्, जसले स्वर्ग र पृथ्वी बनाउनुभयो ।

16 The heavens—the heavens [are] YHWH’s, And He has given the earth to sons of men;

स्वर्ग परमप्रभुकै हो । तर पृथ्वीचाहिं उहाँले मानवजातिलाई दिनुभएको छ ।

17 The dead do not praise YAH, Nor any going down to silence.

मृतहरूले परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर्दैनन्, न त तल शान्‍तमा जाने कसैले गर्नेछ ।

18 And we, we bless YAH, From now on, and for all time. Praise YAH!

तर हामी परमप्रभुलाई अहिले र सदासर्वदा धन्‍यवाद दिनेछौं । परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर ।
