< Psalms 115 >

1 Not to us, O YHWH, not to us, But to Your Name give glory, For Your kindness, for Your truth.
१हे परमेश्वरा, आमचे नको. आमचे नको, तर आपल्या नावाचा सन्मान कर, कारण तू दयाळू आणि सत्य आहेस.
2 Why do the nations say, “Where, pray, [is] their God?”
२ह्यांचा देव कोठे आहे, असे राष्ट्रांनी का म्हणावे?
3 And our God [is] in the heavens, All that He has pleased He has done.
३आमचा देव स्वर्गात आहे; त्यास जे आवडते ते तो करतो.
4 Their idols [are] silver and gold, work of man’s hands,
४राष्ट्रांच्या मूर्ती सोन्याच्या व रुप्याच्या आहेत. त्या मनुष्यांच्या हातचे काम आहेत.
5 They have a mouth, and they do not speak, They have eyes, and they do not see,
५त्या मूर्त्यांना तोंड आहे, पण बोलता येत नाही; त्यांना डोळे आहेत, पण त्यांना बघता येत नाही.
6 They have ears, and they do not hear, They have a nose, and they do not smell,
६त्यांना कान आहेत, पण त्यांना ऐकू येत नाही, त्यांना नाक आहे, पण त्यांना वास घेता येत नाही.
7 Their hands, but they do not handle, Their feet, and they do not walk;
७त्यांना हात आहेत, पण त्यांना स्पर्श करता येत नाही. त्यांना पाय आहेत पण त्या चालू शकत नाही; किंवा त्यांच्या मुखाने त्यांना बोलता येत नाही.
8 Nor do they mutter through their throat, Their makers are like them, Everyone who is trusting in them.
८जे त्यांना बनवितात त्यांच्याप्रमाणेच, त्यांच्यावर भरवसा ठेवणारा प्रत्येकजन आहे.
9 O Israel, trust in YHWH, “He [is] their help and their shield.”
९हे इस्राएला, परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेव. तो त्यांचे सहाय्य आणि ढाल आहे.
10 O house of Aaron, trust in YHWH, “He [is] their help and their shield.”
१०हे अहरोनाच्या घराण्या, परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेव; तोच त्याचे सहाय्य आणि ढाल आहे.
11 You fearing YHWH, trust in YHWH, “He [is] their help and their shield.”
११अहो परमेश्वराचा आदर करणाऱ्यांनो, परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेवा; तोच त्यांचे सहाय्य आणि ढाल आहे.
12 YHWH has remembered us, He blesses, He blesses the house of Israel, He blesses the house of Aaron,
१२परमेश्वराने आमची दखल घेतली आहे आणि आम्हास आशीर्वाद देईल. तो इस्राएलाच्या कुटुंबाला आशीर्वाद देईल. तो अहरोनाच्या कुटुंबाला आशीर्वाद देईल.
13 He blesses those fearing YHWH, The small with the great.
१३जे परमेश्वराचा आदर करतात, त्या तरुण आणि वृद्ध या दोघांना तो आशीर्वाद देईल.
14 YHWH adds to you—to you and to your sons.
१४परमेश्वर तुम्हास अधिकाधिक वाढवो, तो तुमची आणि तुमच्या वंशजांची वाढ करो.
15 Blessed [are] you of YHWH, Maker of the heavens and earth,
१५आकाश व पृथ्वी ही निर्माण करणाऱ्या परमेश्वराचा तुम्हास आशीर्वाद असो.
16 The heavens—the heavens [are] YHWH’s, And He has given the earth to sons of men;
१६स्वर्ग तर परमेश्वराचा आहे; पण त्यांने मानवजातीला पृथ्वी दिली आहे.
17 The dead do not praise YAH, Nor any going down to silence.
१७मरण पावलेले म्हणजे निवांतस्थानी उतरलेले कोणीहि परमेश्वराची स्तुती करीत नाहीत.
18 And we, we bless YAH, From now on, and for all time. Praise YAH!
१८पण आम्ही आता आणि सदासर्वकाळ परमेश्वरास धन्यवाद देत राहू. परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा.
