Psalms 113

1 Praise YAH! Praise, you servants of YHWH. Praise the Name of YHWH.

Lobet Jehova! Lobet, ihr Knechte Jehovas, lobet den Namen Jehovas!

2 The Name of YHWH is blessed, From now on, and for all time.

Gepriesen sei der Name Jehovas von nun an bis in Ewigkeit!

3 From the rising of the sun to its going in, The Name of YHWH [is] praised.

Vom Aufgang der Sonne bis zu ihrem Niedergang sei gelobt der Name Jehovas!

4 YHWH [is] high above all nations, His glory [is] above the heavens.

Hoch über alle Nationen ist Jehova, über die Himmel seine Herrlichkeit.

5 Who [is] as our God YHWH, He is exalting [Himself] to sit?

Wer ist wie Jehova, unser Gott, der hoch oben thront;

6 He is humbling [Himself] to look On the heavens and on the earth.

der sich herabneigt, um auf die Himmel und auf die Erde zu schauen?

7 He is raising up the poor from the dust, He exalts the needy from a dunghill.

Der aus dem Staube emporhebt den Geringen, aus dem Kote erhöht den Armen,

8 To cause [them] to sit with princes, With the princes of His people.

um ihn sitzen zu lassen bei den Edlen, bei den Edlen seines Volkes.

9 Causing the barren one of the house to sit, A joyful mother of sons; praise YAH!

Der die Unfruchtbare des Hauses wohnen läßt als eine fröhliche Mutter von Söhnen. Lobet Jehova!
