< Psalms 11 >

1 TO THE OVERSEER. BY DAVID. In YHWH I trusted, how do you say to my soul, “They moved to your mountain [as] the bird?”
Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi. Jehova Nyasaye ema ageno kuome. Koro ere kaka duwachna ni: “Ringi ka winyo nyaka ewi got mari.
2 For behold, the wicked bend a bow, They have prepared their arrow on the string, To shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
Nikech joma timbegi richo osechako ywayo atungegi; gisechano asernigi e tonde mag atungʼ, mondo gichielgo joma jo-adiera e chunygi.
3 When the foundations are destroyed, The righteous—what has he done?
Ka mise iketho, to en angʼo ma joma kare ditim?”
4 YHWH [is] in His holy temple: YHWH—His throne [is] in the heavens. His eyes see—His eyelids try the sons of men.
Jehova Nyasaye ni e hekalu mare maler; Jehova Nyasaye ni e kom duongʼ mare manie polo. Orango timbe yawuot ji; wengene nonogi matut.
5 YHWH tries the righteous. And the wicked and the lover of violence, His soul has hated,
Jehova Nyasaye nono joma kare, to joma timbegi richo kod joma ohero mahundu, to chunye ochayo.
6 He pours on the wicked snares, fire, and brimstone, And a horrible wind [is] the portion of their cup.
Obiro chwero mach maliel mager kod salfa kuom joma timbegi richo; yamo maliet ha matwoyo gik moko, biro kudhogi.
7 For YHWH [is] righteous, He has loved righteousness, His countenance sees the upright!
Nikech Jehova Nyasaye en Ngʼama Kare, kendo ohero adiera; joma timbegi oriere biro neno wangʼe.
