Psalms 109
1 TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID. O God of my praise, do not be silent,
൧സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്ക്; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. എന്റെ പുകഴ്ചയായ ദൈവമേ, മൗനമായിരിക്കരുതേ.
2 For the mouth of wickedness, and the mouth of deceit, They have opened against me, They have spoken with me—A tongue of falsehood, and words of hatred!
൨ദുഷ്ടന്റെ വായും വഞ്ചകന്റെ വായും എന്റെ നേരെ തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭോഷ്കുള്ള നാവുകൊണ്ട് അവർ എന്നോട് സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
3 They have surrounded me about, And they fight me without cause.
൩അവർ വിദ്വേഷവാക്കുകൾകൊണ്ട് എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞ് കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്നോട് പോരാടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
4 For my love they oppose me, and I—prayer!
൪എന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിന് പകരം അവർ എന്നെ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
5 And they set against me evil for good, And hatred for my love.
൫നന്മയ്ക്കു പകരം തിന്മയും സ്നേഹത്തിന് പകരം ദ്വേഷവും അവർ എന്നോട് കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
6 Appoint the wicked over him, And an adversary stands at his right hand.
൬അങ്ങ് അവന്റെമേൽ ഒരു ദുഷ്ടനെ നിയമിക്കണമേ; സാത്താൻ അവന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നില്‍ക്കട്ടെ.
7 In his being judged, he goes forth wicked, And his prayer is for sin.
൭അവനെ വിസ്തരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ കുറ്റക്കാരനെന്നു തെളിയട്ടെ; അവന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന പാപമായിത്തീരട്ടെ.
8 His days are few, another takes his oversight,
൮അവന്റെ നാളുകൾ ചുരുങ്ങിപ്പോകട്ടെ; അവന്റെ സ്ഥാനം മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ ഏല്ക്കട്ടെ.
9 His sons are fatherless, and his wife a widow.
൯അവന്റെ മക്കൾ അനാഥരും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ വിധവയും ആയിത്തീരട്ടെ.
10 And his sons wander continually, Indeed, they have begged, And have sought out of their dry places.
൧൦അവന്റെ മക്കൾ അലഞ്ഞ് തെണ്ടിനടക്കട്ടെ; അവരുടെ ശൂന്യഭവനങ്ങൾ വിട്ട് ഇരന്നു നടക്കട്ടെ;
11 An exactor lays a snare for all that he has, And strangers spoil his labor.
൧൧കടക്കാരൻ അവനുള്ളതൊക്കെയും കൊണ്ടുപോകട്ടെ; അപരിചിതർ അവന്റെ പ്രയത്നഫലം കൊള്ളയിടട്ടെ.
12 He has none to extend kindness, Nor is there one showing favor to his orphans.
൧൨അവനോട് ദയ കാണിക്കുവാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടാകരുതേ; അനാഥരായ അവന്റെ മക്കളോട് ആർക്കും കരുണ തോന്നരുതേ.
13 His posterity is for cutting off, Their name is blotted out in another generation.
൧൩അവന്റെ സന്തതി മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകട്ടെ; അടുത്ത തലമുറയിൽ തന്നേ അവരുടെ പേര് മാഞ്ഞു പോകട്ടെ;
14 The iniquity of his fathers Is remembered to YHWH, And the sin of his mother is not blotted out.
൧൪അവന്റെ പൂര്‍വ്വ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യം യഹോവ ഓർക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; അവന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ പാപം മാഞ്ഞുപോകയുമരുതേ.
15 They are continually before YHWH, And He cuts off their memorial from earth.
൧൫അവ എല്ലായ്പോഴും യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അവരുടെ ഓർമ്മ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിനു തന്നേ.
16 Because that he has not remembered to do kindness, And pursues the poor man and needy, And the struck of heart—to slay,
൧൬അവൻ ദയ കാണിക്കുവാൻ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും മനംതകർന്നവനെയും മരണപര്യന്തം ഉപദ്രവിച്ചു.
17 And he loves reviling, and it meets him, And he has not delighted in blessing, And it is far from him.
൧൭ശാപം അവന് പ്രിയമായിരുന്നു; അത് അവന് ഭവിക്കട്ടെ; അനുഗ്രഹം അവന് അപ്രിയമായിരുന്നു; അത് അവനെ വിട്ടകന്നുപോകട്ടെ.
18 And he puts on reviling as his robe, And it comes in as water into his midst, And as oil into his bones.
൧൮അവൻ വസ്ത്രംപോലെ ശാപം ധരിച്ചു; അവ വെള്ളംപോലെ അവന്റെ ഉള്ളിലും എണ്ണപോലെ അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിലും പ്രവേശിക്കട്ടെ.
19 It is to him as apparel—he covers himself, And he girds it on for a continual girdle.
൧൯ശാപം അവന് പുതയ്ക്കുന്ന വസ്ത്രംപോലെയും നിത്യം അരയ്ക്ക് കെട്ടുന്ന കച്ചപോലെയും ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ.
20 This [is] the wage of my accusers from YHWH, And of those speaking evil against my soul.
൨൦ഇത് എന്നെ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുന്നവർക്കും എനിക്ക് വിരോധമായി ദോഷം പറയുന്നവർക്കും യഹോവ കൊടുക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം ആകട്ടെ.
21 And You, O Lord YHWH, Deal with me for Your Name’s sake, Because Your kindness [is] good, deliver me.
൨൧കർത്താവായ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ നാമംനിമിത്തം എന്നോട് ചെയ്യണമേ; അങ്ങയുടെ ദയ നല്ലതാകയാൽ എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കണമേ.
22 For I [am] poor and needy, And my heart has been pierced in my midst.
൨൨ഞാൻ അരിഷ്ടനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന് മുറിവേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു.
23 I have gone as a shadow when it is stretched out, I have been driven away as a locust.
൨൩ചാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന നിഴൽപോലെ ഞാൻ കടന്നുപോകുന്നു; വെട്ടുക്കിളിയെപ്പോലെ എന്നെ കുടഞ്ഞുകളയുന്നു.
24 My knees have been feeble from fasting, And my flesh has failed of fatness.
൨൪എന്റെ മുഴങ്കാലുകൾ ഉപവാസംകൊണ്ടു വിറയ്ക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ ദേഹം പുഷ്ടിയില്ലാതെ ക്ഷയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
25 And I have been a reproach to them, They see me, they shake their head.
൨൫ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് പരിഹാസപാത്രമായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ കാണുമ്പോൾ അവർ തല കുലുക്കുന്നു.
26 Help me, O YHWH my God, Save me, according to Your kindness.
൨൬എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, എന്നെ സഹായിക്കണമേ; അങ്ങയുടെ ദയയ്ക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ.
27 And they know that this [is] Your hand, You, O YHWH, You have done it.
൨൭യഹോവേ, ഇതു അങ്ങയുടെ കൈ എന്നും അങ്ങ് ഇതു ചെയ്തു എന്നും അവർ അറിയേണ്ടതിന് തന്നെ.
28 They revile, and You bless, They have risen, and are ashamed, And Your servant rejoices.
൨൮അവർ ശപിക്കട്ടെ; അവിടുന്ന് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കണമേ; അവർ എതിർക്കുമ്പോൾ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസനായ അടിയനോ സന്തോഷിക്കും;
29 My accusers put on blushing, and are covered, Their shame [is] as an upper robe.
൨൯എന്റെ എതിരാളികൾ നിന്ദ ധരിക്കട്ടെ; പുതപ്പ് പുതയ്ക്കുന്നതു പോലെ അവർ ലജ്ജ പുതയ്ക്കും.
30 I thank YHWH greatly with my mouth, And I praise Him in the midst of many,
൩൦ഞാൻ എന്റെ വായ്കൊണ്ട് യഹോവയെ അത്യന്തം സ്തുതിക്കും; അതെ, ഞാൻ പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ദൈവത്തെ പുകഴ്ത്തും.
31 For He stands at the right hand of the needy, To save from those judging his soul.
൩൧ശിക്ഷയ്ക്കു വിധിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്ന് എളിയവരെ രക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ ദൈവം ബലഹീനന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നില്ക്കുന്നു.
