Psalms 108
1 A SONG. A PSALM OF DAVID. My heart is prepared, O God, I sing, indeed, I sing praise, also my glory.
Inhliziyo yami iqinile, Nkulunkulu. Ngizahlabelela ngitshotshe, ngitsho udumo lwami!
2 Awake, stringed instrument and harp, I awake the dawn.
Vukani gubhu lwezintambo lechacho! Ngizavusa ukusa.
3 I thank You among peoples, O YHWH, And I praise You among the nations.
Ngizakudumisa, Nkosi, phakathi kwabantu, ngihlabele indumiso kuwe phakathi kwezizwe.
4 For Your kindness [is] great above the heavens, And Your truth to the clouds.
Ngoba umusa wakho mkhulu phezu kwamazulu, leqiniso lakho lifika emayezini.
5 Be exalted above the heavens, O God, And Your glory above all the earth.
Phakama, Nkulunkulu, ngaphezu kwamazulu, lobukhosi bakho phezu komhlaba wonke.
6 That Your beloved ones may be delivered, Save [with] Your right hand, and answer us.
Ukuze abathandekayo bakho bakhululwe; sindisa ngesandla sakho sokunene, ungiphendule.
7 God has spoken in His holiness: I exult, I apportion Shechem, And I measure the Valley of Succoth,
UNkulunkulu ukhulumile ebungcweleni bakhe. Ngizathaba, ngiyabe iShekema, ngilinganise isihotsha seSukothi.
8 Gilead [is] Mine, Manasseh [is] Mine, And Ephraim [is] the strength of My head, Judah [is] My lawgiver,
Ngeyami iGileyadi, ngowami uManase, loEfrayimi ungamandla ekhanda lami, uJuda ungumnikumthetho wami.
9 Moab [is] a pot for My washing, On Edom I cast My shoe, Over Philistia I habitually shout.
UMowabi ungumganu wami wokugezela; phezu kukaEdoma ngizaphosela inyathela lami; phezu kweFilisti ngizamemeza ngokunqoba.
10 Who brings me [into] the fortified city? Who has led me to Edom?
Ngubani ozangisa emzini oqinileyo? Ngubani ozangiholela eEdoma?
11 Have You not, O God, cast us off? And You do not go out, O God, with our hosts!
Kawusilahlanga yini, Nkulunkulu; kawuphumanga, Nkulunkulu, lamabutho ethu?
12 Give to us help from adversity, And the salvation of man is vain.
Siphe usizo ekuhlupheni, ngoba luyize uncedo lomuntu.
13 We do mightily in God, And He treads down our adversaries!
KuNkulunkulu sizakwenza ngobuqhawe, ngoba yena uzanyathelela phansi izitha zethu.
