Psalms 10
1 Why, YHWH, do You stand at a distance? Do You hide in times of adversity?
Для чо́го стоїш Ти, о Господи, зда́лека, в час недолі ховаєшся?
2 Through the pride of the wicked, Is the poor inflamed, They are caught in schemes that they devised.
Безбожний в своїм гордува́нні женеться за вбогим, — хай схо́плені будуть у пі́дступах, які замишляли вони!
3 Because the wicked has boasted Of the desire of his soul, And he has blessed a dishonest gainer, He has despised YHWH.
Бо жада́нням своєї душі нечестивий пишається, а ласу́н проклинає, зневажає він Господа.
4 The wicked does not inquire according to the height of his face. “There is no God!” [are] all his schemes.
У го́рдощах каже безбожний, що „Він не слідку́є“, бо „Бога нема“, — оце всі його по́мисли!
5 His ways writhe at all times, Your judgments [are] on high before him, All his adversaries—he puffs at them.
Сильні дороги його повсякча́сно, від нього суди́ Твої ви́соко, — тим то віддму́хує він ворогів своїх.
6 He has said in his heart, “I am not moved, [And am] not in calamity to generation and generation.”
Сказав він у серці своєму: „Я не захита́юсь, бо ли́ха навіки не буде мені“.
7 His mouth is full of oaths, And deceits, and fraud: Under his tongue [is] perverseness and iniquity,
Уста́ його повні прокля́ття й обма́ни та зради, під його язиком — злочи́нство й пере́ступ.
8 He sits in an ambush of the villages, He slays the innocent in secret places. His eyes secretly watch for the afflicted,
Причаївшись, сидить на подві́р'ях, мордує невинного, його очі слідкують за вбогим.
9 He lies in wait in a secret place, as a lion in a covert. He lies in wait to catch the poor, He catches the poor, drawing him into his net.
В укритті́ він чату́є, як лев той у за́рості, чатує схопи́ти убогого, хапа́є убогого й тягне його в свою сі́тку.
10 He is bruised—he bows down, The afflicted has fallen by his mighty ones.
Припадає, знижається він, — і попада́ють убогі в його міцні кігті …
11 He said in his heart, “God has forgotten, He has hid His face, He has never seen.”
Безбожний говорить у серці своїм: „Бог забув, заховав Він обличчя Своє, не побачить ніко́ли“.
12 Arise, O YHWH! O God, lift up Your hand! Do not forget the humble.
Устань же, о Господи Боже, руку Свою підійми, не забудь про убогих!
13 Why has the wicked despised God? He has said in his heart, “It is not required.”
Чому́ нечестивий обра́жує Бога і говорить у серці своїм, що Ти не слідкуєш?
14 You have seen, For You behold perverseness and anger; By giving into Your hand, The afflicted leave [it] on You, You have been a helper of the fatherless.
Але́ Ти все бачиш, бо спостеріга́єш злочинство та у́тиск, щоб віддати Своєю рукою! На Тебе слаби́й опира́ється, Ти сироті помічни́к.
15 Break the arm of the wicked and the evil, Seek out his wickedness, find none;
Зламай же раме́но безбожному, і злого скарай за неправду його, — аж більше не зна́йдеш його́!
16 YHWH [is] King for all time and forever, The nations have perished out of His land!
Господь — Цар на вічні віки́, із землі Його згинуть погани!
17 You have heard the desire of the humble, O YHWH. You prepare their heart; You cause Your ear to attend,
Бажа́ння пони́жених чуєш Ти, Господи, серця́ їх зміцня́єш, їх вислухо́вує ухо Твоє,
18 To judge the fatherless and bruised: He adds no more to oppress—man of the earth!
щоб дати суд сироті та пригні́ченому, щоб більш не страши́в чоловік із землі!
