Proverbs 8
1 Does wisdom not call? And understanding give forth her voice?
ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತದಲ್ಲವೋ? ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಕೂಗಿ ಕರೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
2 At the head of high places by the way, She has stood between the paths,
ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಹಾದಿಗಳ ಸಂಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
3 At the side of the gates, at the mouth of the city, The entrance of the openings, she cries aloud,
ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ದ್ವಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಒಳಗೆ ಬರುವಾಗ ಅವಳು ಸ್ವರವೆತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
4 “To you, O men, I call, And my voice [is] to the sons of men.
“ಮನುಷ್ಯರೇ, ನಾನು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ, ಮಾನವರಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಧ್ವನಿಗೈಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.
5 Understand, you simple ones, prudence, And you fools, understand the heart,
ಮುಗ್ಧರೇ, ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿರಿ. ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರೇ, ನೀವು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ಹೃದಯದವರಾಗಿರಿ.
6 Listen, for I speak noble things, And the opening of my lips [is] uprightness.
ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮಾತಾಡುವೆನು; ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯುವೆನು.
7 For my mouth utters truth, And wickedness [is] an abomination to my lips.
ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯು ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾತಾಡುವುದು; ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವು ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
8 All the sayings of my mouth [are] in righteousness, Nothing in them is contrary and perverse.
ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮಾತುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀತಿಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿವೆ; ಮೂರ್ಖತನವಾಗಲಿ, ವಕ್ರತೆಯಾಗಲಿ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ.
9 All of them [are] plain to the intelligent, And upright to those finding knowledge.
ವಿವೇಚಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಾತುಗಳು ನೇರವಾಗಿರುವುದು. ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ಉಳ್ಳವನಿಗೆ ಅವು ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದು.
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver, And knowledge rather than choice gold.
ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗಿಂತ ನನ್ನ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೋ ಉತ್ತಮ ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೋ.
11 For wisdom [is] better than rubies, Indeed, all delights are not comparable with it.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮಾಣಿಕ್ಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು. ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಯಾವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಲಾಗದು.
12 I, wisdom, have dwelt with prudence, And I find out a knowledge of purposes.
“ಜ್ಞಾನವೆಂಬ ನಾನು ವಿವೇಕದೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ವಿವೇಚನೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
13 The fear of YHWH [is] to hate evil; Pride, and arrogance, and an evil way, And a contrary mouth, I have hated.
ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವುದೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಭಯವಾಗಿದೆ; ಗರ್ವ, ಅಹಂಕಾರ, ಕೆಟ್ಟನಡವಳಿಕೆ, ವಕ್ರ ಭಾಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
14 Counsel and substance [are] mine, I [am] understanding, I have might.
ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವೂ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳನೋಟವೂ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಇವೆ.
15 By me kings reign, and princes decree righteousness,
ನನ್ನ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜರು ಆಳುವರು; ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದ ತೀರ್ಪು ಕೊಡುವರು.
16 By me chiefs rule, and nobles, All judges of earth.
ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಆಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಕೀರ್ತಿವಂತರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುವರು.
17 I love those loving me, And those seeking me earnestly find me.
ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಹಂಬಲಿಸಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
18 Wealth and honor [are] with me, Lasting substance and righteousness.
ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವೂ ಘನತೆಯೂ, ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿವೆ.
19 My fruit [is] better than gold, even fine gold, And my increase than choice silver.
ನನ್ನ ಫಲವು ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ, ನನ್ನ ಆದಾಯವು ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾಗಿವೆ.
20 I cause to walk in a path of righteousness, In midst of paths of judgment,
ನೀತಿಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ದಾರಿ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ನಾನು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.
21 To cause my lovers to inherit substance, Indeed, I fill their treasures.
ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರು ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವರು. ನಾನು ಅವರ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸುವೆನು.
22 YHWH possessed me—the beginning of His way, Before His works since then.
“ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದರು, ದೇವರ ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನೇ ಮೊದಲು;
23 I was anointed from the age, from the first, From former states of the earth.
ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗದುತ್ಪತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ಅನಾದಿಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದರು.
24 In there being no depths, I was brought forth, In there being no fountains heavy [with] waters,
ಆಗಾಧಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಬಂದೆನು, ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಾನಿದ್ದೆನು.
25 Before mountains were sunk, Before heights, I was brought forth.
ಪರ್ವತಗಳು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆಯೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ನಾನು ಜನಿಸಿದೆನು.
26 While He had not made the earth, and out-places, And the top of the dusts of the world.
ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊಲಗಳನ್ನೂ ಲೋಕದ ಅಣುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸದೆ ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಾನು ಜನಿಸಿದೆನು.
27 In His preparing the heavens I [am] there, In His decreeing a circle on the face of the deep,
ಅವರು ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದಾಗ ಸಾಗರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಕ್ರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ,
28 In His strengthening clouds above, In His making strong fountains of the deep,
ಮೇಲೆ ಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅಗಾಧದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದಾಗ,
29 In His setting for the sea its limit, And the waters do not transgress His command, In His decreeing the foundations of earth,
ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳು ತನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರದಂತೆ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದಾಗ, ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೆನು.
30 Then I am near Him, a workman, And I am a delight—day by day. Rejoicing before Him at all times,
ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕುಶಲ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯಂತೆ ಅವರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇದ್ದೆನು. ಅವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅನುದಿನವೂ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.
31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of His earth, And my delights [are] with the sons of men.
ಅವರ ಭೂಮಿಯ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಳದ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು; ಮಾನವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.
32 And now, you sons, listen to me, Indeed, blessed are they who keep my ways.
“ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and do not slight.
ನನ್ನ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರಾಗಿರಿ; ಅದನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ.
34 O the blessedness of the man listening to me, To watch at my doors day by day, To watch at the doorposts of my entrance.
ನನ್ನ ದ್ವಾರಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾ, ನನ್ನ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ನಿಲುವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು.
35 For whoever is finding me, has found life, And brings out goodwill from YHWH.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು.
36 And whoever is missing me, is wronging his soul, All hating me have loved death!”
ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದೂರಹೋಗುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಡುಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.”
