Proverbs 8
1 Does wisdom not call? And understanding give forth her voice?
Ĉu ne vokas la saĝo? Kaj ĉu la prudento ne aŭdigas sian voĉon?
2 At the head of high places by the way, She has stood between the paths,
Ĝi staras sur la pinto de altaĵoj, Apud la vojo, ĉe la vojkruĉiĝoj.
3 At the side of the gates, at the mouth of the city, The entrance of the openings, she cries aloud,
Apud la pordegoj, ĉe la eniro en la urbon, Ĉe la eniro tra la pordoj, ĝi kantas:
4 “To you, O men, I call, And my voice [is] to the sons of men.
Al vi, ho viroj, mi vokas; Kaj mia voĉo sin turnas al la homoj:
5 Understand, you simple ones, prudence, And you fools, understand the heart,
Komprenu, naivuloj, la prudenton, Kaj sensprituloj prenu en la koron.
6 Listen, for I speak noble things, And the opening of my lips [is] uprightness.
Aŭskultu, ĉar mi parolos gravaĵon, Kaj ĝustaĵo eliros el mia buŝo.
7 For my mouth utters truth, And wickedness [is] an abomination to my lips.
Ĉar mia lango parolos veron, Kaj malpiaĵon abomenas miaj lipoj.
8 All the sayings of my mouth [are] in righteousness, Nothing in them is contrary and perverse.
Justaj estas ĉiuj paroloj de mia buŝo; Ili ne enhavas falson kaj malicon.
9 All of them [are] plain to the intelligent, And upright to those finding knowledge.
Ĉiuj ili estas ĝustaj por tiu, kiu ilin komprenas, Kaj justaj por tiuj, kiuj akiris scion.
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver, And knowledge rather than choice gold.
Prenu mian instruon, kaj ne arĝenton; Kaj la scion ŝatu pli, ol plej puran oron.
11 For wisdom [is] better than rubies, Indeed, all delights are not comparable with it.
Ĉar saĝo estas pli bona ol multekostaj ŝtonoj; Kaj nenio, kion oni povas deziri, povas esti egala al ĝi.
12 I, wisdom, have dwelt with prudence, And I find out a knowledge of purposes.
Mi, saĝo, loĝas kun la prudento, Kaj mi trovas prudentajn konsilojn.
13 The fear of YHWH [is] to hate evil; Pride, and arrogance, and an evil way, And a contrary mouth, I have hated.
Timo antaŭ la Eternulo malamas malbonon, Fieron, malhumilon, kaj malbonan vojon; Malsinceran buŝon mi malamas.
14 Counsel and substance [are] mine, I [am] understanding, I have might.
De mi venas konsilo kaj bonaranĝo; Mi estas prudento; al mi apartenas forto.
15 By me kings reign, and princes decree righteousness,
Per mi reĝas la reĝoj, Kaj la estroj donas leĝojn de justeco.
16 By me chiefs rule, and nobles, All judges of earth.
Per mi regas la princoj Kaj la potenculoj kaj ĉiuj juĝantoj sur la tero.
17 I love those loving me, And those seeking me earnestly find me.
Mi amas miajn amantojn; Kaj miaj serĉantoj min trovos.
18 Wealth and honor [are] with me, Lasting substance and righteousness.
Riĉo kaj gloro estas ĉe mi, Daŭra havo kaj justo.
19 My fruit [is] better than gold, even fine gold, And my increase than choice silver.
Mia frukto estas pli bona ol oro kaj ol plej pura oro; Kaj la rikolto de mi estas pli bona ol elektita arĝento.
20 I cause to walk in a path of righteousness, In midst of paths of judgment,
Laŭ la vojo de vero mi iras, Laŭ la vojstreko de la justo;
21 To cause my lovers to inherit substance, Indeed, I fill their treasures.
Por heredigi al miaj amantoj esencan bonon, Kaj plenigi iliajn trezorejojn.
22 YHWH possessed me—the beginning of His way, Before His works since then.
La Eternulo min formis en la komenco de Sia vojo, Antaŭ Siaj kreitaĵoj, tre antikve.
23 I was anointed from the age, from the first, From former states of the earth.
Antaŭ eterno mi estis firme fondita, en la komenco, Antaŭ la kreo de la tero.
24 In there being no depths, I was brought forth, In there being no fountains heavy [with] waters,
Kiam ankoraŭ ne ekzistis la abismoj, mi estis jam naskita, Kiam ankoraŭ ne ekzistis fontoj, ŝprucigantaj akvon.
25 Before mountains were sunk, Before heights, I was brought forth.
Antaŭ ol la montoj estis starigitaj, Antaŭ la altaĵoj mi estis kreita;
26 While He had not made the earth, and out-places, And the top of the dusts of the world.
Kiam la tero ankoraŭ ne estis farita, nek la kampoj, Nek la komencaj polveroj de la mondo.
27 In His preparing the heavens I [am] there, In His decreeing a circle on the face of the deep,
Dum Li firmigis la ĉielojn, mi jam estis tie; Dum Li desegnis limojn sur la supraĵo de la abismo,
28 In His strengthening clouds above, In His making strong fountains of the deep,
Dum Li fortikigis la nubojn supre, Dum Li firmigis la fontojn de la abismo,
29 In His setting for the sea its limit, And the waters do not transgress His command, In His decreeing the foundations of earth,
Dum Li donis Sian leĝon al la maro, Por ke la akvoj ne transpaŝu siajn bordojn, Kaj dum Li difinis la fundamentojn de la tero:
30 Then I am near Him, a workman, And I am a delight—day by day. Rejoicing before Him at all times,
Tiam mi estis ĉe Li kiel konstruanto; Mi estis la ĝojo de ĉiuj tagoj, Ludante antaŭ Li ĉiutempe.
31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of His earth, And my delights [are] with the sons of men.
Mi ludas sur Lia mondo-tero; Kaj mia ĝojo estas inter la homidoj.
32 And now, you sons, listen to me, Indeed, blessed are they who keep my ways.
Kaj nun, infanoj, aŭskultu min; Kaj feliĉaj estos tiuj, kiuj iras laŭ miaj vojoj.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and do not slight.
Aŭskultu instruon kaj saĝiĝu, Kaj ne forĵetu ĝin.
34 O the blessedness of the man listening to me, To watch at my doors day by day, To watch at the doorposts of my entrance.
Feliĉa estas la homo, kiu min aŭskultas, Kiu maldormas ĉiutage ĉe miaj pordoj, Kiu staras garde ĉe la fostoj de miaj pordegoj.
35 For whoever is finding me, has found life, And brings out goodwill from YHWH.
Ĉar kiu min trovis, tiu trovis vivon, Kaj akiros favoron de la Eternulo.
36 And whoever is missing me, is wronging his soul, All hating me have loved death!”
Sed kiu maltrafas min, tiu difektas sian animon; Ĉiuj, kiuj min malamas, amas la morton.
