Proverbs 29
1 A man often reproved, hardening the neck, Is suddenly broken, and there is no healing.
ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଥରକୁଥର ଅନୁଯୋଗ ପାଇଲେ ହେଁ ଆପଣା ଗ୍ରୀବା ଶକ୍ତ କରେ, ସେ ପ୍ରତିକାର ବିନୁ ହଠାତ୍ ଭଗ୍ନ ହେବ।
2 In the multiplying of the righteous the people rejoice, And in the ruling of the wicked the people sigh.
ଧାର୍ମିକମାନେ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଣୁ ହେଲେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ କର୍ତ୍ତୃତ୍ୱ ପାଇଲେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ଆର୍ତ୍ତସ୍ୱର କରନ୍ତି।
3 A man loving wisdom makes his father glad, And a friend of harlots destroys wealth.
ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଜ୍ଞାନକୁ ସ୍ନେହ କରେ, ସେ ଆପଣା ପିତାକୁ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ କରେ; ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ବେଶ୍ୟାମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ଅନୁରକ୍ତ, ସେ ଆପଣା ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଉଡ଼ାଇ ଦିଏ।
4 A king establishes a land by judgment, And one receiving gifts throws it down.
ରାଜା ସୁବିଚାର ଦ୍ୱାରା ଦେଶ ସୁସ୍ଥିର କରେ; ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ଉପହାରପ୍ରିୟ, ସେ ତାହା ଉଜାଡ଼ି ପକାଏ।
5 A man taking a portion above his neighbor, Spreads a net for his own steps.
ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀର ଚାଟୁବାଦ କରେ, ସେ ତାହାର ପାଦ ପାଇଁ ଜାଲ ପ୍ରସାରେ।
6 A snare [is] in the transgression of the evil, And the righteous sing and rejoice.
ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକର ଅଧର୍ମରେ ଫାନ୍ଦ ଥାଏ; ମାତ୍ର ଧାର୍ମିକ ଗାନ ଓ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରେ।
7 The righteous knows the plea of the poor, The wicked does not understand knowledge.
ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ଦୀନହୀନମାନଙ୍କ ଗୁହାରି ବିଷୟରେ ବିଜ୍ଞ; ମାତ୍ର ତାହା ଜାଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକର ବୁଦ୍ଧି ନାହିଁ।
8 Men of scorning ensnare a city, And the wise turn back anger.
ନିନ୍ଦକମାନେ ନଗରକୁ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ କରନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ଜ୍ଞାନୀମାନେ କ୍ରୋଧ ନିବାରଣ କରନ୍ତି।
9 A wise man is judged by the foolish man, And he has been angry, And he has laughed, and there is no rest.
ଅଜ୍ଞାନ ସହିତ ଜ୍ଞାନବାନର ବିବାଦ ହେଲେ, ସେ କ୍ରୋଧ କଲେ କି ହସିଲେ, କିଛି ଶାନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
10 Men of blood hate the perfect, And the upright seek his soul.
ରକ୍ତପାତପ୍ରିୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିକୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ସରଳ ଲୋକର ପ୍ରାଣ ଖୋଜନ୍ତି।
11 A fool brings out all his mind, And the wise restrains it until afterward.
ମୂର୍ଖ ଆପଣାର ସବୁ କ୍ରୋଧ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରେ; ମାତ୍ର ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ତାହା ସମ୍ଭାଳି କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ କରେ।
12 A ruler who is attending to lying words, All his ministers [are] wicked.
ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ଯେବେ ମିଥ୍ୟା କଥାରେ କାନ ଡେରେ, ତେବେ ତାହାର ସେବକ ସବୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
13 The poor and the man of frauds have met together, YHWH is enlightening the eyes of them both.
ଦରିଦ୍ର ଓ ଉପଦ୍ରବୀ ଏକତ୍ର ମିଳନ୍ତି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଉଭୟର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଦୀପ୍ତିମାନ କରନ୍ତି।
14 A king that is judging the poor with truth, His throne is established forever.
ଯେଉଁ ରାଜା ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ରୂପେ ଦୀନହୀନମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରେ, ତାହାର ସିଂହାସନ ସଦାକାଳ ସୁସ୍ଥିର ହେବ।
15 A rod and reproof give wisdom, And a youth let away is shaming his mother.
ବାଡ଼ି ଓ ଅନୁଯୋଗ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଦିଏ; ମାତ୍ର ପିଲାକୁ ତାହାର ଇଚ୍ଛାରେ ଛାଡ଼ିଦେଲେ, ସେ ତାହାର ମାତାକୁ ଲଜ୍ଜା ଦିଏ।
16 In the multiplying of the wicked transgression multiplies, And the righteous look on their fall.
ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଣୁ ହେଲେ, ଅଧର୍ମ ବଢ଼େ; ମାତ୍ର ଧାର୍ମିକମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ନିପାତ ଦେଖିବେ।
17 Discipline your son, and he gives you comfort, Indeed, he gives delights to your soul.
ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେଲେ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶାନ୍ତି ଦେବ; ପୁଣି, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ସୁଖ ଦେବ।
18 A people is made naked without a vision, And whoever is keeping the Law, O his blessedness!
ଈଶ୍ୱରୀୟ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଦେଶ ଅଭାବରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ପାଳେ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।
19 By words a servant is not instructed though he understand, And there is nothing answering.
କଥାମାତ୍ରରେ ଦାସର ଦମନ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ; ଯେହେତୁ ସେ ବୁଝିଲେ ହେଁ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରେ ନାହିଁ।
20 You have seen a man hasty in his words! More hope of a fool than of him.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି କଥାରେ ଚଞ୍ଚଳ ଲୋକକୁ ଦେଖୁଅଛ? ତାହା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମୂର୍ଖ ବିଷୟରେ ଅଧିକ ଭରସା ଅଛି।
21 Whoever is bringing up his servant delicately, from youth, [At] his latter end he is also continuator.
ଯେ ପିଲାଦିନୁ ଆପଣା ଦାସକୁ ଗେହ୍ଲା କରି ପାଳେ, ଶେଷରେ ସେହି ଦାସ ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ହୋଇ ଉଠେ।
22 An angry man stirs up contention, And a furious man is multiplying transgression.
କ୍ରୋଧୀ ଲୋକ ବିବାଦ ଜନ୍ମାଏ, ପୁଣି, ରାଗାନ୍ଧ ଲୋକ ବହୁତ ଅଧର୍ମ କରେ।
23 The pride of man humbles him, And humility of spirit upholds honor.
ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଅହଙ୍କାର ତାହାକୁ ନତ କରିବ; ମାତ୍ର ଯାହାର ଆତ୍ମା ବିନତ, ସେ ସମ୍ମାନ ପାଇବ।
24 Whoever is sharing with a thief is hating his own soul, He hears execration, and does not tell.
ଚୋରର ଭାଗୀ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ, ସେ ରାଣ କରାଇବାର କଥା ଶୁଣେ, କିନ୍ତୁ କିଛି ପ୍ରକାଶ କରେ ନାହିଁ।
25 Fear of man causes a snare, And the confident in YHWH is set on high.
ଲୋକଭୟ ଫାନ୍ଦଜନକ; ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଯେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖେ, ସେ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ହେବ।
26 Many are seeking the face of a ruler, And the judgment of each [is] from YHWH.
ଅନେକେ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତାର ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଚାହାନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ବିଚାର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ହୁଏ।
27 The perverse man [is] an abomination to the righteous, And the upright in the way [is] an abomination to the wicked!
ଅଧର୍ମକାରୀ ଲୋକ ଧାର୍ମିକର ଘୃଣା ବିଷୟ, ପୁଣି, ସରଳ-ପଥଗାମୀ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକର ଘୃଣା ବିଷୟ ହୁଏ।
