< Proverbs 23 >
1 When you sit to eat with a ruler, Diligently consider that which [is] before you,
Katta erbab bilen hemdastixan bolsang, Aldingdiki kim ikenlikini obdan oylan.
2 And you have put a knife to your throat, If you [are] a man of appetite.
Ishtiying yaman bolsa, Gélinggha pichaq tenglep turghandek özüngni tart.
3 Have no desire to his delicacies, seeing it [is] lying food.
Uning nazunémetlirini tama qilma, Ular adem aldaydighan tamaqlardur.
4 Do not labor to make wealth, Cease from your own understanding, Do you cause your eyes to fly on it? Then it is not.
Bay bolimen dep özüngni upratma; Özüngning zéhningni bu ishqa qaratma.
5 For wealth makes wings to itself, It flies to the heavens as an eagle.
[Bayliqlargha] köz tikishing bilenla, ular yoq bolidu; Pul-mal derweqe özige qanat yasap, Xuddi bürküttek asman’gha uchup kéter.
6 Do not eat the bread of an evil eye, And have no desire to his delicacies,
Ach közning nénini yéme, Uning ésil nazunémetlirini tama qilma;
7 For as he has thought in his soul, so he [is]. “Eat and drink,” he says to you, And his heart [is] not with you.
Chünki uning köngli qandaq bolghandek, özimu shundaq. U aghzida: — Qéni, alsila, ichsile! — désimu, Biraq könglide séni oylighini yoq.
8 You vomit up your morsel you have eaten, And have marred your words that [are] sweet.
Yégen bir yutum taamnimu qusuwétisen, Uninggha qilghan chirayliq sözliringmu bikargha ketken bolidu.
9 Do not speak in the ears of a fool, For he treads on the wisdom of your words.
Exmeqqe yol körsitip salma, Chünki u eqil sözliringni közge ilmas.
10 Do not remove a border of ancient times, And do not enter into fields of the fatherless,
Qedimde békitken yerning pasil tashlirini yötkime, Yétimlarning étizlirighimu ayagh basma;
11 For their Redeemer [is] strong, He pleads their cause with you.
Chünki ularning Hemjemet-Qutquzghuchisi intayin küchlüktur; U Özi ular üchün üstüngdin dewa qilar.
12 Bring your heart to instruction, And your ear to sayings of knowledge.
Nesihetke köngül qoy, Ilim-bilimlerge qulaq sal.
13 Do not withhold discipline from a youth, When you strike him with a rod he does not die.
Balanggha terbiye bérishtin érinme; Eger tayaq bilen ursang, u ölüp ketmeydu;
14 You strike him with a rod, And you deliver his soul from Sheol. (Sheol )
Sen uni tayaq bilen ursang, Belkim uni tehtisaradin qutquziwalisen. (Sheol )
15 My son, if your heart has been wise, My heart rejoices, even mine,
I oghlum, dana bolsang, Méning qelbim qanche xush bolar idi!
16 And my reins exult when your lips speak uprightly.
Aghzingda orunluq sözler bolsa, ich-ichimdin shadlinimen.
17 Do not let your heart be envious at sinners, But—in the fear of YHWH all the day.
Gunah sadir qilghuchilargha reshk qilma, Herdaim Perwerdigardin eyminishte turghin;
18 For is there a posterity? Then your hope is not cut off.
Shundaq qilghiningda jezmen köridighan yaxshi kününg bolidu, Arzu-ümiding bikargha ketmes.
19 Hear, my son, and be wise, And make your heart blessed in the way,
I oghlum, sözümge qulaq sélip dana bol, Qelbingni [Xudaning] yoligha bashlighin.
20 Do not become drunk with wine, Among gluttonous ones of flesh,
Meyxorlargha arilashma, Nepsi yaman göshxorlar bilen bardi-keldi qilma;
21 For the drunkard and glutton become poor, And drowsiness clothes with rags.
Chünki haraqkesh bilen nepsi yaman axirida yoqsulluqta qalar, Gheplet uyqusigha patqanlargha jende kiyimni kiygüzer.
22 Listen to your father, who begot you, And do not despise your mother when she has become old.
Séni tapqan atangning sözini angla, Anang qérighanda uninggha hörmetsizlik qilma.
23 Buy truth, and do not sell, Wisdom, and instruction, and understanding,
Heqiqetni sétiwal, Uni hergiz sétiwetme. Danaliq, terbiye we yorutulushnimu al.
24 The father of the righteous rejoices greatly, The begetter of the wise rejoices in him.
Heqqaniy balining atisi chong xushalliq tapar; Dana oghulni tapqan atisi uningdin xursen bolar.
25 Your father and your mother rejoice, Indeed, she bearing you is joyful.
Ata-anangni söyündürüp, Séni tughqan anangni xush qil.
26 Give, my son, your heart to me, And let your eyes watch my ways.
I oghlum, qelbingni manga tapshur; Közliringmu hayatliq yollirimgha tikilsun!
27 For a harlot [is] a deep ditch, And a strange woman [is] a narrow pit.
Chünki pahishe ayal chongqur oridur, Buzuq yat ayal tar zindandur;
28 She also, as catching prey, lies in wait, And she increases the treacherous among men.
Ular qaraqchidek möküwélip, Insaniyet arisidiki wapasizlarni köpeyter.
29 Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has contentions? Who has complaint? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes?
Kimde azab bar? Kimde derd-elem? Kim jédel ichide qalar? Kim nale-peryad kötürer? Kim sewebsiz yarilinar? Kimning közi qizirip kéter?
30 Those lingering by the wine, Those going in to search out mixed wine.
Del sharab üstide uzun olturghan, Ebjesh sharabtin tétishqa aldirighan meyxorlar!
31 Do not see wine when it shows itself red, When it gives its color in the cup, It goes up and down through the upright.
Sharabning ajayib qizilliqigha, uning jamdiki julaliqigha, Kishining gélidin shundaq siliq ötkenlikige meptun bolup qalma!
32 Its latter end—it bites as a serpent, And it stings as a viper.
Axirida u zeherlik yilandek chéqiwalidu, Oq yilandek neshtirini sanjiydu.
33 Your eyes see strange women, And your heart speaks perverse things.
Köz aldingda ghelite menziriler körünidu, Aghzingdin qalaymiqan sözler chiqidu.
34 And you have been as one lying down in the heart of the sea, And as one lying down on the top of a mast.
Xuddi déngiz-okyanlarda leylep qalghandek, Yelkenlik kémining moma yaghichi üstide yatqandek bolisen.
35 “They struck me, I have not been sick, They beat me, I have not known. When I awake—I seek it yet again!”
Sen choqum: — Birsi méni urdi, lékin men yarilanmidim! Birsi méni tayaq bilen urdi, biraq aghriqini sezmidim!» — deysen. Biraq sen yene: «Hoshumgha kelsemla, men yenila sharabni izdeymen! — deysen.
